CS:GO review (positive): Gameplay wise it's very fun and competitive. Can do lots of made up challenges in competitive to spice things up a bit because there are no rewards, nothing much when you achieve the highest rank or when you achieve any rank, only drops which are independent from your rank. Servers are still 64-tick, if you want better experience just go and play competitively on FACEIT.

CS2 review (negative): Gameplay did not change much when Valve implemented the Source 2 engine to the game. Premier mode at first (2023) was fun until early 2024 when a lot of spin botters entered the game. Valve introduced VAC live which was not working for a whopping half of a year. A TRUE NIGHTMARE. The launch was rushed without any new content (despite Premier mode) and plenty of bugs. Competitive mode is non existent due to max rank being stuck at LEM, no Arms Race at launch (added early 2024), no Danger Zone at launch, no operation for 3 years.
