Early Access Review
I went into this with 0 expectations, failed like 5 times, then slowly learned how the game works and now I am hooked.

Active solo dev, the kind of people we need to support.
I give the game a 9.4/10 super fun for the price.

Awesome game!
Awesome IP! (its Star Wars, come on!)

EA left it to die, hackers and literally unplayable lobbies. The past 3 days, over 95% of all lobbies didn't even start and those who did got joined by hackers eventually.

I want to love this game but we need to pressure EA. This game is lost otherwise

It's funny to think of this as "early access" because the polish is quite good, no major bugs, good performance and it feels like a game that will actually get better over time.

My main takeaway is the combat, it's about sending out robots on either a left or right path, with new ones and skills to unlock. It's definitely not the standard 14th Assassins Creed Title, where it's kind of "always the same".

You should take this game for what it is, a creative indie-game that's fun to play.
It's worth it to support the Dev and I'm happy it's only a couple bucks and not a 20€ title, so I'd say just grab a copy and enjoy the game.

Plus The Naked Dev, is a sweet person that listens to feedback, so if you'd like to see change he's probably going to respond to your message persoanlly.

One of the games I'm so hyped for. Nothing to add, its like the first game but better in every aspect.
Amazing game and a well deserved fresh wind, compared to the rather stale AAA industry. Buy it, even just to support the Devs, it's worth it and enjoy the game!

Free Mobiles Games 10 Years Ago Had More Gameplay-Depth :/

I love these types of games, sadly this feels like a rushed and unrefined game.
The art is good, the idea is amazing but the actual game-play is lacklustre and linear.

I don't hate on the Devs, this is pretty obviously a fun-project made by a few people in a couple of weeks of months
BUT for what it's worth 5,89€ is to much. I'd pay 1,49€ or 2,99€ at best, let me explain why.

+ Art is good and Idea is fun
+ The base game itself is "good enough", you won't find major bugs nor immersion breaking inconsistencies
+ Exciting to explore the maps, units, countries and skill-tree at first (1-3h)

- There game is just "good enough". I mean I played mobile games 10 years ago that have more depth than this. I can explain this best, by just telling you about every feature in the game, as there are only a few.

- Player Agency is close to 0: You get stars by waiting or lvl-ups, there is no economy, skill-tree, regions to cap that give you benefits, nothing other than waiting. Not you can choose between 7 units, tho the felt difference other than the sniper is not that relevant. Get 10 rifleman or 1 officer and 3 machine gunners, then t hey will perform roughly the same. The main idea is to spam to get to the furthest trench, wait till the AI attacks you, as defence is better and then push, it becomes repetitive and dull very fast. You just spam whatever unit and wait. For a game where, if you rush a round goes for 1-3 mins at any difficulty. I'd say your balancing is just not good. If you don't rush and play def, it can take 5-15 mins. Now 95% of that time is spend sitting and waiting, doing nothing. The Devs could have put a 2x/4x/8x/12x speed options into the game and it would have solved this issue. The trenches can be upgraded 3 times and a machine gunner placed behind it, that can also be upgraded 3 times and tanks will go forward until they die, so you cant control them. Congrats you know the entire game and hopefully see why its so boring. Oh wait, you can spend medals in the skills tree with buffs like "10% more accurate" or "20% more accurate" or "20% faster unit spawning" or "40% faster unit spawning". My main point is, with a bit more effort surely it would have been possible to not make a worse version of, free and already existing games like "Cartoon Wars 2: Heros" for example. I mean I had my fun for 2h but it wasn't worth it. The Devs don't work on the game or others so there isn't even a point in "supporting them for developing". As for the mechanics that do exist in game, like the skill "10% chance to throw a grenade", these are incredibly ill balanced. Simply getting that perk, will make 10-20 soldiers deal with any tank. Why even go tanks, they are actually useless. Or the Tsar-Army has a special perk that spawning 1 rifleman will spawn 2, up to spawning 5 for one max, i think. Why is that broken? 70 stars for one rifleman to makes you spawn a "350 star value". You can do that without spending medals and every few seconds. One Tank costs around 500 stars and a medal and has about half a minute of cool down. You see the issue here? In any case, I "finished" the game e.g. all maps and some on max difficulty within 1 hour. There is no depth that makes me want to go back and explore the game further. It would have been incredibly fun to play this game multiplayer vs a friend. But ey netcode (multiplayer code) is really difficult, so I get why it inst here.

All in all, I think in 2026 i'll make my own version of this game with a friend and publish it here on steam as well, simply because I love these games but in the pat years, its been quite disappointing so, instead of waiting for a good game to come out, I think its more fun to make it myself. If you want to buy this game, go watch a few vods on YouTube and then decide if its worth it. If you are aware this game only has 2-10h of enjoyable gameplay, then by all means go buy it and have fun! I would still advise to get this at a 50-70% discount to get your moneys worth!

All the best and enjoy the game, if you do play it, Mike :)

Alright, I can fully understand why the game has mixed reviews and to be honest it's irrelevant to most people.

Essentially Reign and Reign 3K are different games, which summs up most of the negative comments, they simply wanted another game like Reign but I appreciate the devs for trying to take the genre further. It's not more about your entire Kingdom, you are build it's story via the rulers, you get to collect cards and fight with them to conquer land. The visuals are a lot more detailed and have additional art style depending of your choice is positive or negative.

I'd say, if you are looing for Reig 2.0 you are wrong but if you want to play a game that builds upon the idea of Reigns and makes it into ..... a new game, then just try out Reign 3K, It's a perfectly fun game and I'd argue that newcomers might prefer this game over the original. Personally, I like each game for what I tried to be, thank you Devs for innovating! :)

I really want to love this game, I enjoyed TF1 a lot and to be clear, this game looks awesome! I also had no issues with performance, I only saw a few glitches so far and the base mechanics from TF1 have been improved and expanded on.

It is very impressive what the devs have created, however personally there are quite a lot of game-breaking nuances that I wish weren't present.

The Story & Map - I don't mind the main menu, the new approach with the military boys, what I dislike is how it is being transported. We get this cool arrival, all hyped up, we crash and then what, literally nothing, Why are we there, where is the rest, no one talks. I find that a bit odd to have the same narrative as in TF1, it just doesn't fit at all.

The new GPS map is nice, initially the points of interest where nice as well, just like the bigger map. its just unfortunate. that the blinking markers make you want to explore these areas first, leading you to run for a good 1 hour back and forth to markers, surviving on snickers instead of what you'd expect from a survival game. I found a gun and my inventory is full with a bunch of stuff I'd love to have found/explored myself as I went on surviving. As of now you kind of run from A to B get stuff and never interact with the forest at all. As now you can circle the centered mountain, somehow the terrain became A LOT more generic, some interesting areas but in total I loved searching for a good place to set up camp, now its just very odd. Also because of..

The Enemies - As you run along to your first marker or anywhere you a bound to just run into (as the vegetation is quite dense, which is nice but lead to walking into the burned cannibals) cannibals. So I pull out my tactical hatched, smack ehm 8 times and continue, and again and again and again. For me, the scary part is to be afraid, I used to avoid contact as I felt that after I was spotted in TF1, I got attacked more. Now it doesn't matter, avoid, em run into em, its all the same. So after walking an hour to the 5 points of interest and killing 24 cannibals (all on normal difficulty btw,) I set up camp on a ridge where you can't even see me, no cannibal areas nearby but still I quite literally chop 2 tress and build my camp, expand a bit for 15 minutes, all while being attacked 3 times by a total of 11 cannibals. Like its just annoying, I'm not scared/afraid i just go *sight* and chop em.

Building - Oh boy, yeah its an alpha but it certain doesn't feel right to have very few building options, this used to be my favourite part, building and surviving via traps, planters, making my own fort. Basically the whole setting up stage is skipped, I need to place effigies right from the get go to even have some time, all the while I have no traps and again just eat my snickers. I'm sure they will add tons more but as of now man... there is not a lot of fun to be head building. And even how intuitive some aspects are, why do I have to look up how to make a campfire, yeah its a cool new mechanic but please you need to somehow transport to the player how the new features work.

Summary - The game is visually pretty, there seems to be a lot of new items and new game but with the amount of cannibals everywhere, the lack of good direct or indirect storytelling, with the building system being sparse and building areas overrun on day1 by 3 attack within 15 minutes i just find myself running from place A to B to get more guns and ammo. It just does not feel like a survival game at the moment. I hate that I feel that way and I hope it betters sometime by expressing these issues here. I'm 100% certain that in a few month I'll delete this and be happy just as of now, what a dissappointmentt and I'm most sorry to admit that...

Its an amazing games with huge potential.

After around 6-10 hours the replayability is not that great but you do have interesting minor hooks to keep you going, plus its just fun to play a round every now and then.

Please show your love, support the devs and help em to keep forging this masterpiece.

Cheers ^-^

Honestly still one of the best and fun games to both play alone or with friends.

Make your own godlike classes or choose to be a bard. Yeah as always some people spend their life in being the best at combat but just after he killed you, a horse jumps out of no where, runs over a team mate and then lances the lvl 300 warlords away. As you spawn you may find a fellow half naked Barbarian with a huge axe screaming "chaaarge" or "to viccctoreeyyyy".

What can I say, its just fun but also a challenging experience in combat if you seek said path.

Support the devs and just keep on dying till you get the hang of it! ;)
