Early Access Review
One of the most fun games I've bought recently. I keep finding myself coming back to it, whether to replay the boss levels or just play the freeplay mode with a bunch of the songs in a playlist. Its basically Arkham style combat where everything is synced up to the beat of whatever song is playing, and if you do your inputs on the beat you do more damage, do it faster, and build more combo. There's something very satisfying about getting into the flow of it and perfectly dodging or parrying a boss's string of attacks to then dash in with a combo of your own. The boss missions especially lean into the rhythm gimmick, with their fights specifically tailored to have their moves and stage transitions match up with the music. Its not even finished yet and its probably my favorite game to come out this year. I easily see myself putting a lot more hours into this game in the coming weeks. Cant wait to see what the other bosses will be.

Skill issue Charlie.

Honestly, I didnt expect to actually enjoy another extraction shooter after I quit Tarkov a few years ago. I have to say this game surprised me. Someone described it as "Tarkov for employed people" and that fits perfectly, and I mean that as a compliment. This game does not expect you to treat it as a second job to get anywhere in it like Tarkov does. It can be played a lot more casually and again I mean that in a good way. Also the fact that most solo queue players are generally friendly is rather fun, as someone who has been less and less interested in sweaty PvP games the last few years. Sure there will still be the occasional hostile player but most are friendly. I've had many fun moments of teaming up with a random player and fighting off a swarm of ARC, or teaming up to take down a big robot, and so on. Very fun game.

Saw this game from a randomly recommended video on youtube, and I am glad I decided to grab it. Neat little horror game with an interesting story. Its a good mix of knowing when to be kinda silly and when to take itself seriously, its handled well and doesnt take away from serious moments. There are a few moments in the story that felt like punches to the gut and I mean that as praise for the writing. It feels maybe a bit too short and I kinda wish there was more, but it also means it doesnt overstay its welcome, and the different chapters mix up the gameplay enough to stop it from becoming stale feeling. It does have some different endings so there is some replay value as well. Honestly I'd recommend it, its pretty cheap and pretty good. Also the soundtrack slaps.

Community manager for the company supported the killing of Charlie Kirk. Vile, ghoulish behavior.

Also the game genuinely got worse after the 1.0 update, and keeps doing so every update, namely the AI getting a lot worse and more annoying, the devs dont know what they are doing, so probably deserves this negative review just for that alone.

Lets me play 40k and other similar tabletop games with my friends without bankrupting myself with GW prices, also lets me play with people across the world. Pretty great.

Easily my favorite of the Civ series. I know 5 is a fan favorite but I like 6 more to be honest. The cities feel much better, its satisfying to see a city slowly spread across the terrain, and you can do a lot more strategy and different things with cities than in other games. And some leaders have some pretty unique abilities and effects that change how you play with them more than how much they effected in prior games it feels like. Also lets be honest its infinitely better than 7 will ever be.

A game I am absolutely horrible at but keep coming back to for a few runs every few months or so, the crazy combos you can get going with the right wand is very fun. A very well done roguelike game, some runs may end up feeling the same but then you get that one amazing run where you get some utterly cracked combo on a wand and feel unstoppable- until you blow yourself up with it. You will end up killing yourself more than the enemy kills you, trust me.

I'm not very good at it or very far in it yet, but I've been having fun so far. Rewards careful strategy and trying to pick off enemies one by one, can be fun trying to fight everyone once things hit the fan though. The enemies are fairly smart too, if you kill a bunch of them who try to rush a room you are in they will stop using that entrance and wait outside of it for you, stuff like that.

The official Bethesda social media account posted a very thinly veiled jab at Charlie Kirk after he was assassinated, calling him a fascist and thus implying he deserved to be murdered. Vile behavior.

Also that aside the game is basically dead. Was kinda fun back in the day but its just not worth it now, so would get a negative review anyway to be honest.
