This game took my brain hostage for several months as I constantly found myself thinking about all things involved in it after turning the game off. It's as perfect as a puzzle game like this can be and I thoroughly recommend you go into this completely blind.
(And please, make sure to have a notebook handy, you'll thank yourself later...)

This game is fun! Easy to enjoy. Just crack open a cold one and sit back.

This game is a very good example of how less is more in a horror game.
Structured as a hunt for scrap, you play as crew mates for a company you don't know anything about to explore moons that seem abandoned. There's much more I could say, but I'd rather recommend people grabbing a group of friends and diving in headfirst, as this game thrives on fear of the unknown. I hope future updates continue to keep this game interesting and fun!

The beginning was way too slow and absolutely didn't warrant the price tag. Even if you could get past the pop-in, the easy disconnects, and the camera fighting between both players, having to press A and B only when the game tells you you should bogs the game down to simply pressing A eveywhere until it works. I really wanted to like this game.

A game that epitomizes the concept of "Short but Sweet", Toem doesn't overstay it's welcome to any capacity.
Quick to introduce you to new areas, quick to usher you out of the more lackluster ones. It accomplishes what I feel like it sets out to do; give the player a fun little peek into the world of Toem. Definitely pick this up on sale.

Outer Wilds is one of those games that I find myself desperately wanting to gush about, but having to bite my tongue in fear of spoiling all of it for people I want to play it. If you're still on the fence about playing what I consider one of my favorite games, allow me to re-contextualize my experiences with this game.
As a somewhat jaded 20-something year old with very little to look forward to, I'd often lose myself in the motion of everyday life. Seldom do games like this come by and shake up the monotony.
While playing this game, I felt like a child again, trying to piece together a puzzle that was bigger than I could truly comprehend. I'd make silly theories in my head, or lose track of time while exploring each planet. I was so excited to learn new things, test my theories, and fail over and over.
There is so much love oozing from this game, bundled with charming characters, a wonderful soundtrack, and a gripping narrative that, well... You'll just have to figure out for yourself.

This game, unlike most in its price range, is absolutely justified in its cost. I've never had more fun playing a game with friends than with this one. Please do yourself a favor and get this game.

As much as I've played this game (And it isn't a lot yet), I'm utterly enthralled with how pretty everything is. The writing is so cute looking. This game is a hoot, a holler, and everything in between!
