Hot take, but...
I love this one

I get it that it's a sequel and it's trying to be more than its predecessor, which could occasionally misfire and harm its identity, but I feel like they handled it pretty well
Some people fail to see that, when pursuing an expansion of scale, it's only natural to trivialize the common man.

Yes we're no longer focusing as much on individual people
Yes buildings are no longer unique and separate
Yes at times it feels weird to see WEEKS matter instead of DAYS

But you can clearly see the attempt that the developers made to use what they have to make it feel like it belongs. And what we have is still, at the end of the day, a very extensive and detailed city-management sim

You came here looking for Frostpunk 1. No wonder you're let down

Bought it solely for the black dragon gloves and to check out the heist on stealth

The rest is meh but I had money to burn

I think Gold Dagger DLC did dragon-themed suits better

Living proof that the most depressing concept in fiction is a world that's so messed up and dystopian, that the people have become fully apathetic and desensitized towards death, seeing it as a sought-after escape from something unarguably worse

The ONLY gripe I have with this is that whenever I accidentally right-click, it skips the character banter

My only complaint was the ditching of the original armor kits. The return of the T200 for the event is good but it shouldn't be the only one. I'm taking Spartan vibes over spandex tracksuits any day
