I now have almost 400 hours in the game. I almost never encounter any glitches or problems. The game feels good to play. PvP is a great past time when you don't have to deal with gankers or spammers. otherwise I think Elden Ring is a great game. The DLC has added a lot to it. Not all positive. but that's for a different review.

Updated review: I now have over 100 hours.

They updated the game a lot- most of the glitches I previously mentioned *mostly* have been fixed or worked on. There are still glitches, just not as bad.
I can happily die over and over again, knowing it's because I suck.

I will start this by saying: when this game runs, it's amazing; enjoyable and fun.

The reason this is a negative review is because out of my current 41.1 hours [39 hours on my character] I am 100% sure at least 5 hours have been spent troubleshooting; messing with setting, restarting the game, going to the main menu, etc.. The problems I've been having are a combination of very common problems and weird small occurrences that I can't find a reason for when searching online. I'll list some of the problems. ~
+ Sometime the game will just not lock on to an enemy you're in front of.
+ You randomly can't summon anything [including Torrent], in areas you were just using summons [and Torrent]
+ When you sell items you randomly get them back
--- The **BIG** problems that have really hindered the game for me ---
+ Hostile NPCs [and Torrent for some reason] will go invisible and fade in and out of visibility.
- This is only hostile NPCs; passive animals, fire, the player, rain, foliage, CO-OP players, blood, water, everything else except hostile NPCs.
+ The game will sometimes just crash, when nothing else is running.
- It has done this: on launch, on title screen, on main menu, after loading into world, mid-fight, etc..
+ The game will gray out the exit button randomly.
- It has done this in the round table and once when not in combat at the Church of Ellah.
+ When closing the game will continue to run.
- You will have to close it through Steam or Task manager.
+ Multiplayer will disconnect randomly.
+ Multiplayer connection will be poor and cause fighting to be near impossible to coordinate.

There is a gluttony of bugs and problems. But, I do enjoy this game; I've gifted this game to 2 other friends just so when it runs they can enjoy it.
I hope most if not every big thing gets fixed and I will gladly change my review and be abused by other players and enemies.
