SIGNALIS

SIGNALIS is, quite frankly, a game that deserves to be as highly praised as other classic survival horror games. This game is a master at atmosphere, setting, its own lore, sound design... even how the inventory works and how it basically enforces backtracking is a masterful design. This game made me wanna read The King in Yellow, which is an achievement on its own - I rarely ever read.
The use of cosmic horror is just ever so subtle. The themes of life, death, promises, replacement, being someone that you aren't or not having your own identity - everything is executed perfectly. This game is easily a 10/10 and a game that I see myself returning to multiple times in years to come.

Damn you Jose Pablo the programmer. I am getting divorced because of Baldurs Gate 3

Tonight, I was in camp and initiated a love scene with Lae'zel, the Githyanki green woman. The game was pumping through my speakers and my wife could hear the narrator describing the love making. She came storming into the room faster than I could react. I tried to alt tab but i kept hitting the wrong keys on accident and wasnt fast enough.

She saw the green face and the pointy ears and the pointy teeth, and now she thinks I'm possessed by Satan and sexually attracted to mystical creatures and devil women with horns and pointy teeth. She locked herself in our bedroom, and I could hear her crying and moving things all around. Hours later she opened the door and stormed out of the house with two suitcases and told me she's filing for a divorce. She won't answer my calls.

I really wish I never played this game.
