For the love of god, the sexual tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife. They're constantly pissed off at each other and arguing and fighting because they're sexually frustrated. Their relationship would be a lot healthier if they just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ already.
And before you say "oooh they're not gay" Squidward at least has to be bisexual. The dude’s nose is literally a ♥♥♥♥, and like all of his paintings are about his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ too. He's obsessed with genitals of the male variety. And not to mention he's always insulting Spongebob. This is because he's insecure about his sexuality, when really he should just accept it.
And Spongebob not being gay is a fair point, due to his obvious attraction to Sandy, but how do we know he's not bi, too?
