I really enjoyed Deathloop but there are some pretty major "Buyer Beware" things to note. Worth picking up in a sale.

[+] Great art style
[+] Loop management (picking out the things you want to accomplish that loop) is fun
[+] Julianna gameplay can be very fun trying to hunt down Colt.
[+] Fun Story and banter between Colt and Julianna
[+] Powers are great - particularly if you're a fan of Dishonored
[+] Few weapons, but enough variants and mods to make up for it.

[-] Quite short, even for completionists
[-] The Julianna gameplay can be incredibly frustrating - particularly if it matches you with someone with a terrible network connection. You will be jittering and rubberbanding more than playing.
[-] Dwindling playerbase means Julianna gameplay teeters on functionally dead.
[-] Game would be dramatically improved with some randomness added into it to stop levels getting stale.
[-] Residuum becomes worthless quite quickly.
[-] Dramatic quality of life improvements needed for the Julianna mode (Though some of these look to be implemented since Update 2)

Really sets the bar for RPGs this generation.
> Great character generation options which don't lock you into a particular playstyle if you want to completely change your class later down the track.
> A huge array of spells and abilities which all feel unique and not just reskinning to fluff out options (eg. no Fireball becoming an Frostball)
> Engaging story with multiple ways to progress (not to say you can do ANYTHING, but the key story quest leaves a lot of options in how you tackle challenges like through social encounters or completing sidequests which modify challenges later.

So far I'm very impressed and looking forward to Baldur's Gate 3 if it's anywhere as good as this.
