It's good. For $70, I got the game + zero, which I think in this case is worth a full price day 1 purchase. The game so far is good. I do wonder if the UI/UX team tested this at all. The aircraft tree is pretty awful, there isn't enough zoom out and the inability to visit the tree during each Sortie Prep is a pretty universally terrible idea.

Also, at the start of the game, there's a 40 minute interactable cutscene. During this time, you cannot adjust your inversion settings. So handle your settings before you play the game or you are playing opposite your instinct for an hour.

This game has an epic popup that softlocks your game. Then the developers expect you to wait 20 minutes for it to fail. This is a DO NOT RECOMMEND. They got their money and don't care about you.

Wait for a sale. The grind for weapon attachments is so bad. 300 kills, 100 headshots, etc. Weapon unlocks are tied to missions and challenges.

Basically they want you to grind forever and buy more passes or bot farm.

AFK timer is 30 seconds. Can't even get up to RR, let alone make a drink.

Also, you can't host a server without hitting global server maximum. EA/Dice won't give us dedicated servers, but they won't expand their server space because they need all the profit to go to the C-Suite.

And they nerfed portal experience worse than 2042.

I paid $3.24 to write this review. After 20 hours or so on Game Pass, just to get BF6 skins (yes, I know, but you are probably doing it to), this game while not what it was at launch, is still terrible.

Can't host a new game because of a Global Limit Error and custom servers don't really exist, so if you attempt to join a custom server with 0 players you get the Global Limit Error because it is technically requiring a new server to start it.

There is a daily XP cap and after a certain amount of time I can only earn 1 battle pass point per game. The entire thing is designed to punish you for playing how you want to play and instead get you to log on consistently on a weekly basis to maximize potential purchases.

F that. I have a terrible feeling Battlefield 6 will also suffer from these scummy practices.

Good game for those who are too mentally checked out to play something requiring mental dexterity. Great game.

If you turn around, mobs will teleport behind you. The game is awful and the people who grew up on it just deal with it because they don't know any better.

Edit: 2026, it's better than KF3... So I recommend. :(

Hilarious that people are mistaking a main game FREE CONTENT PATCH / FEATURE ADDITION for the DLC update. The long story short is this is a $10 DLC, not a $40 DLC. The amount of content you are getting for $10 is great and inline with the previous DLC.

The world design on this one is a bit more spread out/interesting compared to what you can normally just blast through. I think people would rather have something they can speed through, versus something that requires a bit of thought to navigate. To each their own, but owning the DLC opens up some neat builds and weapons.

As per why people are review bombing regarding prisms, it's because they added a FREE optional game mode for after you beat the game where you can beat bosses and upgrade some optional 'prisms' that make you very powerful, and people had to grind for those and the grind was a bit rough. That said, they made it easier and buffed a lot of old guns.

Players are mad because they have failed as PC gamers mostly, but the console bois do have to completely grind it out as they can't mod/use CE. That said, it's optional stuff, for an free update that was most importantly... Optional free content that no one asked for but the devs wanted to add in.

This DLC is $10 and you get a weekend worth of content at minimum. It's no wonder game companies just stick with what works and never try to innovate. People will cry foul either way.
