I really, truly adore Garfield Kart. I'm not sure I can explain why I like Garfield Kart as well as I do, but there is something deeply satisfying about the way it exists. Garfield Kart is an entire, committed racing game built around characters I have a sentimental attachment to and it's amazing. The idea that somebody thought Garfield Kart should be an entire kart racer themed around Garfield and Garfield lore, with all the Jon and Odie etc. Included and as racers, actually really tugs at my heart. It didn't have to exist, but it does, and I love it for it.

I get this warm, glowy feeling whenever I think about Garfield Kart because it’s just so honest. Garfield Kart doesn't try to be anything it's not, it is simply a game where Garfield drives carts around, and I think that's genuinely beautiful. It has all the Garfield and Garfield lore characters (as racer and opponent) as well as tracks designed around the lore of Garfield and his friends, and you drive them around. It is the fact that this is available on a plethora of systems that really touches me and makes me feel Garfield Kart belongs everywhere. Garfield Kart is something that has no caveats or conditions; I simply adore it.
