One of, if not my all time favourite video game! I remember getting this at the end of the 90's, and my brother and I would play it all the time. Completely fell in love with it then, and still adore it now. I am a fan of the first-person games in the series, but the top-down isometric style is still great. Fallout 1 will always have a special place in my heart.

Only 6 years late, but finally got around to playing this. Definitely fully recommend. Is it scary? No, but it can be creepy and make you feel reeeeeeally uneasy at times. Does it make sense? Not a whole lot, but things don't have to make sense to be interesting and fun.

I will admit there were 2 or 3 times I had to look up a walkthrough because I couldn't figure out what to do, which was a little frustrating. But overall I loved the experience. The story was interesting, and some of the characters were great.

The only other kind of negative thing I can say is there are some long dialogue heavy bits, but it wasn't much of a problem on my first play through because I was happy to hear more of the story, characters, etc; my second play through was to get all the achievements and then it was a little bit of a bother to have to wade through all the dialogue. But even then it's definitely not enough to say people shouldn't play it - you definitely should...

So do! .......PLAY IT!!

It's just oddly satisfying! I really can't describe it any further. There can be a challenge, but I've found that once you get a certain swing of things, then it can be pretty smooth sailing. But it's not really boring. Just...satisfying. It might be for a certain type of person. Maybe.

It's cheap...but bad. Half the time the movement controls stopped working, and a bit less frequently the fighting controls wouldn't respond. Every now and then the camera would suddenly move and focus on a part of the map that didn't have my character in view for a while.

An absolutely fantastic with a truly beautiful story. Some of the puzzles proved rather tricky for me, but it didn't spoil how I felt about it overall. Definitely recommend.

For those wanting the general jist: it's pretty pointless. As another reviewer on here stated, most of the time the correct answer is to just say "False," to which you can't even say you're really learning anything from the trivia because it's all made up information. Just don't.

But that aside, I instantly got annoyed with this before even playing it due to the fact it opens in 800x600 fullscreen, and there seems to be no way at all to make it windowed. Though this is something of a more subjective issue, as it made things more problematic to record the previously mentioned video. Otherwise it may not matter to most.

As mentioned by others, other problems with this include there only being one life and no save functionality (you die, you start from the beginning). Hitboxes are larger than the sprites so while you may think you will escape a shot in reality you'll just suddenly get the 'Game Over' screen and be kicked to the main menu. And there's no dynamic to the sound (no sfx at all, just constant music) or gameplay (admittedly I only got to the second stage before I grew tired of this game, but it appeared to just all be the same gameplay and sprites, just with a different background).

Some say this could just be an asset flip and/or project to farm Steam cards. I'm pretty much willing to believe it. Either way, there is no way I can recommend this.

That aside, I will simply say that this game actually appears to have potential! I'm personally not really in to RPG Maker games, but this is far from the worst I've played. I would otherwise recommend this game if it's your kind of thing, BUT going by other reviews, the discussion threads, etc, it is evident that the MANY bugs this game has don't appear to be getting fixed. I've seen messages showing the devs say they are working to solve them and even add new features...and then be followed by about a month or more of silence and no updates.

The bugs do take away the fun from this game, but I would be willing to accept it and offer the recommendation if it appeared the devs were following up with updates and patches. As they don't seem to be, I would advise to just save the few pence the game costs and keep looking.

Are you a big fan of the footsball? Do you give two hoots about the offside rule or who successfully makes the big kick? If you answered "yes" then this game is probably for you. If you answered "no" then this game is definitely for you!

I, personally, couldn't care less about sport, especially football. The fact this game is 100% accurate with the real-world sport and it's rules without any research or care by the developer just proves how easy it is to learn about feetball without actually ever learning anything about it. The action is really engaging, and the humour is actually humorous without any prior knowledge of the sport needed.

I have a lot of love for Little Nightmares in general - the characters are really unique and interesting, the stories are dark and mysterious, and the aesthetic is just fantastic. What lets it down most are the controls, of which sadly (from my experience) this DLC hasn't improved - if anything it's gotten worse. Also the mechanics of The Granny can be ridiculous at times. As a lot of people have brought up, this DLC is surprisingly short, which is a real shame. BUT with the fact that A) they are bringing more out as a series it kind of makes up for it (though some may complain about having to pay for each part), and B) as I got more infuriated with this DLC than I ever did in the base game, it was kind of nice to relax with it finishing so early... Which I can't say is a good thing.

If you like the base game, then by all means do try this out to get a new story and enemy. Just be aware of it's short length (1hr tops) and control issues similar to those in the base game.
