I’m that dude who grew up playing football—both on the field and at home—with classics like
Nintendo World Cup (1990), FIFA Street on PS2 (2005), and of course FIFA 98.
"remember: Blur – Song 2 Absolute nostalgia!" c",)

My coach once told me, “The best thing about having you in midfield is that the enemy has
no clue what you’re doing… sadly, neither do we.”

Back then, football was everywhere in Norway, and the energy was unreal. With Norway heading
toward the 2026 World Cup, So I decided to build a proper PC setup for couch multiplayer—just
like the old days—so my friends and I can chill, trash-talk, sip some beverages, and go all-in again.

I’ll admit, the negative Steam reviews for EA SPORTS FC 26 had me worried. But it looked like
the best option for proper local play, and at 50% off I thought: why not?
And honestly? I’m thrilled I bought it.

Everything has been smooth:
-Controllers synced instantly
-Couch co-op was super easy to set up
-The sound and visuals are absolutely wild—way better than I expected

I haven’t touched Career Mode or management yet because I’ve been having way too much fun with
local multiplayer. For that purpose alone, this game has been a blast. So if you’re after a good,
feel-good couch football game to play with friends, I can happily and confidently recommend this one.
It’s delivering exactly what I hoped for—and then some.

After watching a couple of YouTube videos, I got it in my head to try a medieval game.
After games like Red Dead Redemption, I wanted freedom — and a horse.

With that in mind, I set out looking for a medieval experience. After fumbling around with games like Mount & Blade, I stumbled upon this masterpiece that had somehow escaped me until now. Maybe it was the lack of co-op or multiplayer that kept it hidden from my algorithm.

So, I bought Kingdom Come: Deliverance (the first one), thinking if it was good, I could always grab KCD2 later. I fired up the game and was immediately lost in exactly the kind of open world I’d been craving. Riding on my trusty horse, bought with my stolen money, my thoughts drifted back to my old friend Arthur Morgan — and how his world didn’t feel much different.

In total awe, I found myself lost for hours at a time. Before I knew it, 160 hours had passed. As I rode my horse into the sunset, Steam was already downloading KCD2, and the credits rolled — the sun glinting off my perfectly assembled gear. I could almost picture Arthur smiling in his coffin, dreaming of a studio with the same dedication that Warhorse Studios delivers in this true masterpiece.

What I love most is the authenticity:
No dragons, no magic — just real history, real places, even real buildings.

In short:
It’s the kind of game that makes you follow channels like ModernKnight on YouTube.

When I was a child, I often went on dog sledding trips with my dad. While the lights danced on the trees around the campfire in the dark, my father left a lasting impression on me through stories and tales. Amundsen, Nansen, and especially Helge Ingstad’s accounts mixed with my father’s own experiences with dog sledding in Greenland and the forests of Canada. Stories like these quickly foster a false romanticism about surviving alone with your own hands. The Long Dark does an amazing job of letting me feel the resistance and challenge of actually surviving in such conditions, even for a short while. My escapades in Survival Mode deepen my awe for the deeds of past heroes. As I stumble around in desperation, perpetually hunting for the bare necessities, I can't help but marvel at their accomplishments.

The Story Mode, Wintermute, is absolutely fantastic, and from the moment I met Grey Mother, I was spellbound. I’m eagerly awaiting the continuation. No matter which mode you play, the soundscape is incredible. Whether you’re standing inside a shed simply taking in the sound, the immersion is unavoidable. At first, the graphics might seem unimpressive, but this quickly fades, and you’ll find yourself taking screenshots of the cold winter world Hinterland Studio has created. There are multiple maps, each unique. Some are part of the story, while others you have to seek out on your own. In Survival Mode, there’s no hand-holding or assistance—you chart your own route and decide your own fate. It’s by no means an easy challenge, so you must take your time and think before acting.

It’s a rare game formula that, when tweaked to perfection, creates an incredible experience you can play over and over. Each run feels different. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys Nordic outdoor life. Especially if you also feel drawn to Canada, to the old heroes, and to survival against all odds.

For now, though, the cabin by the lake and an uncharted world await. With my homemade bow, fishing hooks, and now that my jacket is repaired, tonight there will be food—fried in a pan I stumbled upon along the way...

Overall, a great game, well worth a playthrough!
Biggest drawback: Countdown on replays via radio. Stressful in an otherwise slow-paced game.

Oh, my brain is bleeding - with ideas! c",)

This really does feel too good to be true! Saw some videos from the creator on youtube. Looked relatively complicated, but turned out to be quite the opposite. Bought to try, shortly after a "in my eyes" masterpiece was created. Ready to use in my games.

The creator himself gives a concrete and easy-to-understand copyright explanation, where it specifies that works created by yourself are free to use in games, etc. recognition was even optional. Yes, even uploading to Spotify is allowed, explains the creator himself. (Inside the game's discussion forum on Steam) Something that gives me confidence to use this monster of a tool.

It really is a monster. My brain is bubbling over with ideas. Variations of songs are easy to create with regard to pause menus and different levels etc. Really a big shout out to the creator: Thank you very much!

Recommend to go in and hear already created songs in the mentioned discussion forum, or on youtube.
If you don't get curious or interested, I don't know...

Oh just so it's said:
I will credit the tool in future games, etc. where I have used it.
This must be shared!

You know how the joy of mastery is always held up as the very key to happiness. Well, get your self App Game Kit and start your own journey up the steep learning curve. I guarantee several moments of pure ecstasy!

I had some experiences from Arma 3 where scripting is part of creating missions etc. it was and is great fun but eventually I became aware of the limitation of playing around in a world intended for military simulation. I decided to try something more intended for scripting etc. without any kind of frames around.

Had a massive blunder at first buying "leadwerks game engine". This was really jumping into deep water. I sat like a wet cat and near giving up when I came across "App Game Kit". The pictures, videos and explanations seemed understandable and inviting. Everywhere it was claimed to be easy and in a few minutes possible to create a small demo game. I laughed thinking this sounded too good to be true. Thought I should give it a go. This could not be a hobby only reserved for the professional few. In Arma Editor everything was so understandable. Note* This was when the "Armaholic site" was up and active. RIP <3

Understood after only minutes using "App Game Kit" that this would be a good experience and a new favorite hobby. The language was familiar and understandable, very similar to what I knew from Arma 3. Lots of informative videos on youtube, understandable built-in command encyclopedia. But in particular I would like to highlight two demo games that come with the standard AGK package. "Baws by Craig 'Jammy'" & "SmackIt". Only through these I have learned an incredible amount. I will also mention: "Sparckman","RoomC10" & "The Coding Train" on Youtube - Thank you all! c",)

I have now logged over 130 hours in AGK Studio, and over 300 in AGK Classic. I enjoy myself when I see scripted ideas, read or come up with something new. Test and experiment. Like 2D best, but recently tried 3D. All with almost shameful luck. Cheering for myself for each goal I achieve - As I already mentioned AGK is one dopamine enduser of true rank.

This is my all time favoritt game. in short: if you are playing on a computer and don't own Arma 3, you are missing out.

You probably have your favorite fps game. be it: "Eft", "DayZ", "Pubg", "Insurgency", "Cod", "Cs", "Warthunder", "Squad", "Doi", "Hell let loose" or "moh". Arma 3 contains it all, even a direct blueprint for a few.

Sp, Mp.
A wast library of missions, game modes and addons - so much stuff you won't believe it!. Feel like "Rule 34" applys, only it's not porn, or is it?.

Fight, learn and play. Make friends, collaberate and have fun.

Then if you so wish.. make missions, maps, gear, objects, weapons, sounds, operations or effects. It's all easy, and the learning curve has no end!.

Start scripting, unlock your potensial. soon you and Notepad++ will be the best of friends, and you will see: you can do it - if you can think it!.

So stop reading my poor english, and just buy it! It will be the best investment you have ever done.
i guarantee!.

Oh, and lastly. A great community. Feel free to ask if there is anything.

Ok. So i am old school. We are talking - "Medal of honor: Frontline" times.

This game hits on all strings for me. From the glory days of that time, up until "Day of Infamy". "Hell let loose" has it all, even the 'Ding' sound (!). knowers will know.. Not to mention the sounds and war like atmosphere - Spot on!.

On top of this, "Hell let loose" has a great way of forcing players to collaborate and form squads. This makes for great MMO/COOP style gameplay, rivaling what you find in big titles like "Arma".

You will find your way from "Dads army" to "Band of brothers". No tutorial or hand holding. Just pure, flatout mayhem from first deployment. (Note: not spawn out. As K:D is kind of irrelevant in "Hell let loose".)

Only drawbacks:
No Workshop.
No healing prosent. (Full, half or dead)
Some movement issues. (especially when lying down and aiming)

Early Access Review
imagine you have three friends.

First, is a huge 'Sid Meier's Pirates' fan. The second, a blood 'Ports of call' follower. And the third one, working at a ww2 navy museum. These guys suddenly made a game together. And it is spectacular.

Oh, and their favorite movie, 'Das Boot' ofcourse.
