Have only tried Creative Mode so far, although calling it that is a bit odd in itself. I spent 8 hours just building, expanding, fighting off dragons and vikings trying to ruin my fun and they never succeeded. This is a pure, simple, yet really enjoyable little city or, rather, castle building game. You can go full OCD with it and create really lovely towns or just place things where they are needed the most. The game mechanics are simple, but if you don't manage them right it can get tricky. The random events are a nice change of pace from expanding and can be quite devastating if not planned for.

The only negatives really comes down to how the game behaves with more load. Eventually things start to stutter and lag a bit, which makes some things a bit annoying to do and takes a bit away from the beauty of watching all the peasants run around. Hopefully that gets addressed at some point, but overall I can only recommend this especially for the price it is well worth it!

Given this is sold for 4 bucks the amount of content is quite remarkable. It's a fun little time killer that overall plays quite well. There is a certain grace in the simplicity, but enough content to last for quite a few hours. Very little to no loading time, multiple modes, vehicles and a ton of levels. Developer seems very responsive to suggestions as well, which is really nice to see.
