The worst Skate game ever published by the worst publisher in the world (EA) abusing the early access model to drip feed content and push their item shop and battle pass over content updates and support. This game is the pinnacle of a franchise with an uniquely dedicated fanbase being dragged through the mud and dirt, twisted and wrung dry for every last drop of goodwill possible. Fifteen years people waited and hoped for a new Skate game, and this is what we got. Worst part? We're absolutely whipped by it, and the freemium model in general. I hate almost every little thing about this game, but I still try play every day, even if only for a little while, just because I enjoy the flick-it system Full Circle worked so hard to recreate. The terrible daily/weekly/monthly challenge rotation is inane, limiting and all-together boring as all get-out. The game maxes out your CPU constantly at high settings, this has been an issue with multiple people with multiple PCs weaker and stronger than mine. My guess is that the 150~ player servers they boast about (WHERE 90% OF THE TIME YOU CANNOT EVEN SEE OTHER PLAYERS MIND YOU) is the culprit. The map is so flat and boring to skate, half of the ramps you can fly off lead literally nowhere, nothing in this map has any large-scale flow to speak of. No huge downhill bombs through city streets, no megaparks, no winding neighborhood roads with houses with bowls in the back, nothing even comes close. I wont comment on the characters as they are pretty much non-existent and I turned off VO about 5 minutes into my playtime. This typed review cannot contain the sheer amount of issues I have with this game. PLEASE AVOID THIS TRASH. Emulate the older games.
