App campaigns run ads in various formats across multiple networks. They will handle the customization for you. They will take your assets and combine them to create a full ad. The system will use the content you provide, or it'll automatically retrieve content from the Play Store, App Store, or your website (limited to pages with universal or app links to your app).

Keep in mind that the content you provide may sometimes drop, crop, or modify your content when it shows the ad. If you don't upload a video, it may build one automatically from your App Store or Google Play assets.
