JUST IN: Kamala Harris has won enough delegate votes to secure the Democratic presidential nomination, Democratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison announced Friday, though the results are not yet official.

The DNC will not make an official announcement of results until Monday evening, when the virtual voting process closes for delegates to next month’s Democratic National Convention.

Democratic delegates are holding an unusual pre-convention virtual vote in order to finalize their nomination before a ballot access deadline in Ohio next week, which was set before the party’s national convention kicks off in Chicago on Aug. 19. They had been planning to formally select their presidential candidate that way since May, long before Biden withdrew his re-election bid.

Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares is demanding answers about allegations of fraudulent donations from ActBlue, a donation platform for Democratic politicians.

In a letter sent to ActBlue, Miyares said, "My office has become aware of multiple serious allegations that ActBlue, ActBlue Civics, Inc., and ActBlue Charities, Inc. (together "ActBlue") have engaged in fraudulent, deceptive, and/or otherwise illegal activities in the Commonwealth of Virginia and/or have aided and abetted others in doing so."

"This includes hundreds of thousands of dollars of contributions through individual donors in the Commonwealth in volumes that are facially implausible and appear suspicious. Some of these Virginia donors are reported as making multiple daily contributions over the course of multiple years amounting to tens of thousands of dollars in aggregate," he added.

A California judge has granted immunity for Hallie Biden to testify against Hunter Biden in his upcoming criminal tax trial next month.

Hallie Biden, the widow of Beau Biden and ex of Hunter Biden, previously indicated to prosecutors that she would be unwilling to testify at the trial beginning Sept. 5 "on the basis of her privilege against self-incrimination," according to a court filing obtained by Fox News.

Biden is charged with failing to pay $1.4 million in taxes between 2016 and 2019, while also filing false tax returns. He allegedly used the funds to live lavishly, including spending millions of dollars on drugs, escorts, luxury cars and other high-priced items.

The Justice Department sued TikTok on Friday for illegally collecting children’s data, escalating a long-running battle between the U.S. government and the Chinese-owned app.

TikTok broke the law by gathering personal information from users under the age of 13 without their parents’ permission, according to the government’s complaint. The company knowingly allowed children under the age of 13 to create and use TikTok accounts, the government said, and frequently failed to honor parents’ requests to delete their children’s accounts.

The lawsuit, which was filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, said those practices violated both the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, a law that restricts the online tracking of children, and a 2019 agreement between TikTok and the government in which the company pledged to notify parents before collecting children’s data and remove videos from users under 13 years old.

The suit, which also names TikTok’s Chinese parent company, ByteDance, asks for the court to fine the companies over the violations.

He's suffering Pathological Idealism, a common issue. We need to know our ideals, but have to be practical strategy for them. Throwing your vote away with a write-in does nothing for the 2nd amendment cause, just like throwing paint on priceless pieces of art does nothing for climate change. Holistic thinking and strategizing is essential.

The globalist propagandizers have convinced scores of people to become so hard-lined on certain topics that their idealism effectively makes them unable to effect any meaningful change, thereby ceding the battlefield to the enemy. We gotta be practical and idealistic at the same time, so the right ideals become manifest in concert with the actual realities of the 5G battlefield we find ourselves in.

President Donald Trump’s election interference case is set to resume as early as Friday in Washington, D.C., after sitting dormant for months while the Supreme Court mulled presidential immunity.

The case’s anticipated revival could pave the way for dramatic pre-trial court proceedings in the coming months, serving as the only remaining case out of Trump’s four criminal prosecutions to see significant activity ahead of the presidential election.

The Supreme Court did not spell out every action of a president that is immune from prosecution, however, and instead ordered the lower court to sort through Trump’s indictment to determine what items in it are no longer in alignment with the immunity decision.

The ruling was a massive blow to Smith, and it may force Smith in the coming months to excise key parts of his indictment and dramatically weaken his charges against Trump. It also almost certainly postponed any full trial until after the presidential election, especially given that any decisions reached during the pretrial phase would open an opportunity for Trump to pursue drawn-out appeals to the decisions.

But a silver lining for Smith and those hoping to see Trump stand trial is the prospect of forthcoming hearings that could shine a spotlight on Trump’s behavior in the aftermath of the 2020 election.
