Belated reveals - not what you might have come to expect of me...

First I did a thing, and then I did another thing...

The first thing I did was sign up for Night on Fic Mountain, which was cool. (Even cooler: I got an awesome Alex Delaware gift - you can read it here: We Were Running Against the Wind, 1850 words, Milo & Alex, Post-series

This is potentially an expected thing, although I've never done Milo POV before (I don't think...):

Title: Partners in Crime
Author: [personal profile] tinx_r
Fandom: Alex Delaware
Genre/Rating: Gen/PG
Wordcount: 1078
Pairing/Characters: Alex Delaware, Milo Sturgis
Summary: While working a case, Milo reflects on his friendship with Alex.

The next thing I did was pick up a pinch hit for Fandom 5k. For Agatha Christie's The Man in the Brown Suit. Who's read this? Who loves this as much as I do? (Aside: the rest of Christie's work I can take or leave. This one is on my desert island list. Go figure.)

Anyway, I never thought of it fannishly, although my recipient pointed out the (blatantly obvious) Harry Lucas/Harry Rayburn|John Eardsley ship which I think I'd just kind of latently accepted all along. And I happily set out to write that.

Only somehow I didn't, and instead wrote an adventurette for the ensemble in Paris. Which, I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed. And I still ship Lucas/Eardsley :)

Here 'tis:
