    🚨Situation Contained🚨 Shortly before 4 PM on 1/3/25, Deputies responded to the area of Hwys 21 & M for reports of a subject monkeying around. First-responding units found the subject was naked except for what appeared to be a tutu. 1/4

    Great news. Jimmy’s owner was found!!! And it turns out Jimmy’s name is actually “Flick.” Mahn Funeral Home stepped up to pay the bill for Flick’s treatment and the little guy will hopefully be heading home sometime today. More to come soon...

    ***Update on last night's shooting incident*** Our Deputy is expected to pull through. We're all praying for the best for him & his family. The suspect was shot & killed during the incident. His identity & the facts behind why he shot at our Deputies are still under investigation

    Our deepest condolences go out to the family, friends & colleagues of the two Hermann Police Officers who were shot last night in the line of duty. Sadly, Detective Sergeant Mason Griffith died from his injuries. Please send your love and prayers to everyone affected by this.

    WE NEED YOUR HElP. Do you recognize this dog? He was dumped near Old Highway M & Schneider Road. His mouth and paws were taped. He was cold, starving & possibly had a concussion. He's at a hospital & is doing better now. If you have info about his owners, call 636-797-5515.

    This spider monkey was staying at a nearby home when it managed to open a door and get outside. Deputies surrounded the animal and eventually got it back to its caretaker. Nice work by everyone involved. What a day in #JeffCo! 4/4

    People have complained about our balanced approach to pursuits which weighs public safety vs. apprehension. So, to deter criminals from running we're adding big cats. They're not great at sniffing for drugs, but we're confident criminals won't get away. Please welcome Tony.🐅
