The Pan Am Douglas DC-4 had a sleek design w/ four P&W Twin Wasps providing a MTOW of 75,000 lbs & a range of 2,500 statute miles. That meant transoceanic capabilities and an economic operational profile. Here's video to inspire appreciation of a great airplane! (with sound)
