Failed Class

Does anyone know whether the UofM TC allows you to retake classes you have failed and improve your grade? I did PSEO there junior year and was completely unprepared and failed three classes that were relatively easy. I'm a freshman at a community college now and have a 4.0. I'm thinking of transferring to the U next fall, but those three failed classes will be so horrible for my GPA - can I retake those three classes and improve my grade?
