this place was meant for me

hey everyone, I'm new here! When I found this community (which would be about.. ten minutes ago), I KNEW this place was meant for me. My friends and I are always saying that I was born in the wrong decade. I was meant to be living in the sixties. This is because of a combination of being obsessed with the Beatles, and being fascinated by 60's protest movements and Woodstock and counterculture and equal rights for all. Martin Luther King Jr, John F Kennedy, Malcom X, the Beatles... the March on Washington, Freedom Summer, Vietnam, SNCC, landing on the moon... God, it would've been SO amazing. I can't believe I missed it.

Anyhow, so I'm really glad to be a part of this community, because I really need other people to reminisce about things we never lived through!
