    THE AUTHOR DOES A GREAT JOB DESCRIBING IN DETAIL THE ACCOUNTS OF MARY'S APPEARANCES FROM GUADALUPE IN YEAR 1531 UNTIL PRESENT. ONE OF THE APPARITIONS THAT GIVES MARY'S APPEARANCES EXCEPTIONAL CREDIBILITY STARTS ON PAGE 265, THE APPARITIONS AT BETANIA VENEZUELA ON MARCH 25, 1984. IN THESE APPARITIONS, MARY APPEARED TO 108 PEOPLE ON 7 OCCASIONS IN ONE DAY. THE LAST APPEARANCE LASTED FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES. THE 108 PEOPLE WERE HAVING A PICNIC EATING AFTER THE NOON MASS, WHEN MARY APPEARED TO THEM ON 7 OCCASIONS THROUGHOUT THE DAY. THE LIST OF WITNESSES THAT SAW MARY APPEAR ON 7 OCCASIONS THROUGHOUT THE DAY INCLUDED CHILDREN, STUDENTS, DOCTORS, LAWYERS, A JUDGE, PRIESTS, AN ARMY GENERAL, AND EVEN SOME ATHEISTS. THOSE 108 PEOPLE LATER SAID THAT THEY WERE TRANSFORMED SEEING MARY'S APPEARANCES.

    I liked learning about the apparitions of the Virgin Mary in various places and getting a few details about them. This is written as an aid to faith and prayer by someone who is a very devout Roman Catholic. Good book …There are more solidly academic ones written within the faith, but without the “of course” attitude.
