Angst: A collection of poems Kindle Edition

5.0 out of 5 stars (3)

A collection of poems that were written through a tumultuous time in my life: my teen years. The poems in this collection are mostly about heartbreak, longing, and love. It details the teenage girl experience navigating relationships and self acceptance. In this collection, you see a teen girl's inner mind and you will see her grow into herself.

Here is a poem that is part of the collection:

Your hands felt like fire,
While mine were cold as ice.

And I thought if I let you touch me,
I'd finally feel alive.

Feelings, especially for teenage girls, can be overwhelming. The poems in this collection demonstrate that unapologetically. This is a perspective that is often belittled but is so important to not feel ashamed of.
