Our commitment to accessibility and inclusion

We believe learning is for everyone. At Cambridge University Press & Assessment, we are committed to making our publications, platforms, assessments and resources accessible to all users, ensuring no one is excluded from the opportunity to learn, demonstrate their skills and achieve their potential.

Assessment

Cambridge University Press now publishes the majority of its new titles, and many older titles, in accessible ebook formats.

Available formats and support

Alternative formats: For works not readily available in a suitable format, we partner with RNIB Bookshare in the UK, donating digital files to ensure content reaches print-disabled learners quickly.

Direct requests: we also welcome direct requests for accessible formats from individuals and institutions globally via our Accessible Format Request Form for Cambridge University Press titles. We aim to respond within five working days.

Partnerships and initiatives

We actively engage with the wider accessibility community to share best practices and drive improvement:

ASPIRE Project: verifying the accessibility of our statements and contributing to standardised accessibility information.

Publishers Association Accessibility Action Group: collaborating with publishers and advocacy groups on accessible publishing developments.

Charters: signing the Publishing Accessibility Action Group's charter and the Accessible Book Consortium’s Charter for Accessible Publishing, affirming our commitment.
