I am happy to be part of the institute, primarily because it is an autonomous college. This autonomy allows the college to determine its curriculum, ensuring that students are aware of important topics, which increases the chances of achieving good academic results. The college boasts the highest package of 44 LPA and an average package of around 5-6 LPA, making it a good return on investment. It ranks number one among AKTU colleges according to the NIRF Ranking.
Admission Criteria: Entry into the college is available after completing 12th grade, with a minimum requirement of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the total of the required subject combination (two compulsory and one optional subject). The institution offers multiple courses, including Pharmacy, B.Tech, Pharma, MBA, M.Tech, and M.Tech Integrated. Students can apply through AKTU or via direct admission.
Faculty Support: The faculty members are very supportive and always ready to assist students. They complete the course on time and strive to provide the best education. Many faculty members hold doubt-clearing sessions on Sundays, which is commendable. Additionally, numerous free workshops are organized to help students enhance their skills and understanding.
Placement Scenario: The Placement Cell is performing exceptionally well, facilitating a significant number of placements. The college has established ties with various organizations and companies, including Infosys, Capgemini, and TCS. The highest package remains at 44 LPA, with the average package around 5-6 LPA, reflecting a solid return on investment.
Hostel Review: The hostel food is excellent, and students can eat as much as they want. However, the availability of hostel rooms is limited, as they tend to fill up quickly during the second or third round of counseling.
Infrastructure Rating: NIET has two campuses: NIET New and NIET Old (Main Campus). Both campuses include hostels and large grounds. The main campus spans 13.9 acres and consists of four blocks: A, B, C, and D. The college is equipped with numerous well-maintained labs for different branches, each containing over 100 computers.
Campus Rating: While there arenât many freshers' parties, the college hosts numerous technical fests that significantly enhance our technical skills. Overall, the college is excellent for academic pursuits, though it may not offer the best college-life experience.
