- Theory books :
- foreign authors :
- Peter Sykes : concise but difficult to understand, contains many advanced mechanisms so you have to filter out.
- Morrison and Boyd : good book that is well written and much easier to understand. if you do not have coaching then it is a good choice for primary textbook.
- Solomon, Fryhle and Snyder : definitely worth checking the Wiley edition of this book as it has many problems along with sufficient theory.
- indian authors :
- OP Tandon : a good book and relevant for jee mains, but you can not solely rely on it for jee advanced.
- RK Gupta : the theory in the book is okay, but the problems seem either too advanced or too easy. so not a good choice.
