Last Updated : 23 Jul, 2025

Applied through: Morgan Stanley Career Portal, Off-campus

Status: Fresher, 2024 batch

Previous Experience: Summer Intern at Microsoft

Position: Spring Technology Analyst

Internship duration: Jan-Jun 2024

Location: Mumbai/Bengaluru

Interview Process:

Online Assessment [Computer-based online test (AMCAT)]. It had 3 sections:

1. Debugging: Code snippets were given and bugs were to be found and fixed. 7 questions were to be solved in 10 minutes. Difficulty level: Easy.

2. Aptitude: Generic aptitude questions that included data interpretation, numerical ability, and logical reasoning. Quadratic equations and trigonometry were also included(refer back to those JEE textbooks). 10 questions were to be solved in 10 minutes. I felt the time constraint was difficult.

3. Coding: 3 questions to be solved in 60 minutes. Difficulty level: Leetcode medium.

3 weeks after the online assessment, I got a call from the recruiter that I had cleared the OA round. She scheduled my interview in 3 days.

Technical Interview [Virtual meet on Zoom]

The interview was taken by a senior manager. Questions mainly revolved around coding, OS, CN and DBMS. Interview duration: 1 hour.

4 days after the interview, I got a call for the 2nd interview which was scheduled in 3 days.

Technical + HR round [Virtual meet on Zoom]

Generally, from what I've read from previous interview posts, this is supposed to be a technical + HR round. Surprisingly, it was just a HR round for me. The interviewer was a senior technology executive director. The interview mainly revolved around projects, resume-based questions, volunteer experiences, etc.

2 weeks after my second interview, I got a "Selected" mail!

Complete process from online assessment to the final verdict took 1 and a half months.
