Joining a prestigious organization like Deloitte is a dream come true for many, and I was no exception. As a fresher stepping into the corporate world, I was filled with excitement, ambition, and a drive to learn and grow. However, my journey so far has been a mixed bag of experiences, some of which were not what I initially expected.
The Excitement of Joining a Global Firm
From the moment I received the offer letter, I felt a deep sense of pride and accomplishment. As a fresh graduate, I couldnât wait to immerse myself in challenging projects, learn from industry experts, and work in a domain I was passionate about.
The First Setback: Not Getting My Desired Domain
However, my excitement quickly dimmed when I was placed in a domain that was far from my area of interest. Like many others, I had my hopes set on a specific field that aligned with my academic background and career aspirations. Yet, during the onboarding process, I found myself in a completely different domain that felt disconnected from my skills and passions.
