The HIV databases contain comprehensive data on HIV genetic sequences and immunological epitopes. The website also gives access to a large number of tools that can be used to analyze and visualize these data. FYI: Increased blocking of automated requests
Automated traffic on our site has substantially increased over the last year, with some requests utilizing too many resources and thus affecting our site functionality. Updated HIV 3D Structure Viewer tool
We have released a new version of our HIV 3D Structure Viewer tool allowing for interactive visualization of .cif protein structure files. This updated version still contains special features for the BG505 SOSIP Envelope trimer structure, including the ability to highlight specific regions of the Envelope protein. Additionally, we have added optional marking of drug resistance sites to relevant structures and improved the ability to color residues of a structure through input numerical data.
