Story
Jaiden is my nephew — our brave and beautiful boy. His laugh was infectious and brought so much love, joy, and happiness to everyone around him.
On 28th November 2024, at just 2 years and 1 month old, Jaiden lost his fight to a rare metabolic condition called Sandhoff.
Despite facing a difficult journey, Jaiden was an amazing little boy who continued to bring love and happiness to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
From the time of his diagnosis until the very end of his life, our family was supported by many charities who helped us in countless ways and continue to be there for us.
In memory of Jaiden, I will be taking part in the Carsington Half Marathon in December 2025 and the London Marathon in April 2026. I will be fundraising throughout my training until that final sprint across the finish line. Your generosity will go to Zoë's Place Baby Hospice, Coventry, helping them to continue providing incredible support for families in similar situations. We know firsthand just how invaluable this support is.
When Jaiden was first diagnosed, we quickly realised that, because his condition was so rare, support was limited. Zoë's Place stepped in to support our family through an extremely difficult period. Jaiden was cared for so lovingly there, receiving one-to-one care, while our family was given much-needed respite.
Thank you to all our friends and family for the love and support you’ve shown us over the past few years, and thank you in advance for supporting this fundraising venture.
Let the training begin!
