What is LearnedLeague?

Joining LL

In order to join the LearnedLeague, you must be referred by a current member in good standing.

Head-to-Head

LL is a head-to-head trivia league. Every LL Match Day, each player plays against one other player. Results and statistics are tracked in standings tables (example). There are a lot of statistics.

Defense

In addition to answering the six questions in a Match Day (samples here), a player plays defense by assigning a point value to each question for their opponent. The winner of the match is the player with the most points.

Other Stuff

In addition to the four 25-match LL seasons per year, each offseason also presents various topic-specific, member-smithed MiniLeagues and One-Days Special. Here is a list of all upcoming contests. All members in good standing are eligible to participate in all contests.
