From text to storyboard to fully animated video—Google Product Design Lead, Ammaar, shares how he brings big ideas to life using Google AI Studio.
Instead of bouncing between separate platforms, Google AI Studio provides a single environment to orchestrate this exact multi-model pipeline:
✍️ Write & refine a story with Gemini.
🎨 Turn those written words into a visual storyboard with Nano Banana.
🎬 Animate the static frames and layer in a voiceover with Veo.

Congrats! I really enjoyed your labs in AI for App Building... you and the other instructors did a great job. I really liked how the program focused on solving real-world problems instead of just teaching the tools.
Google introduces a faster, cheaper image generator with Nano Banana 2 Lite
Google is updating its image generator to make it faster and more affordable, positioning the tool as a more practical option for creators working with AI-generated content.
While details may continue to evolve, the key takeaway from today’s update is simple: improved speed and lower cost can help more people experiment, iterate, and produce more content without the same barrier of time or expense.
For creators, educators, and teams looking to integrate generative images into workflows, these kinds of efficiency upgrades matter—especially when image generation is part of an everyday creative process.

First impressions of Google Flow — and I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting this.
I opened the tool today for the very first time with no prior experience and no guidance. Just explored it on my own to see what it was capable of.
Within minutes, I had generated a personalized AI avatar video of myself — something that would have required a full production setup not too long ago.
Today was a small experiment. But small experiments have a way of leading to big shifts in how we work.
Have you tried Google Flow yet? I'd love to know how others in the marketing and content space are exploring AI video generation tools, and have you guys found any tool that generates 60 to 90 secs video better than this for free?

Google DeepMind just released two new models:
→ Nano Banana 2 Lite for fast, low-cost image generation
→ Gemini Omni Flash for video generation and editing through API and Google AI Studio.
one thing I'm noticing: AI video is no longer just for creative teams.
it's becoming part of the product stack.
for builders, it's now much easier to add visual content to their apps.
and for teams working with clients and tight deadlines, it's another reason to start using AI - what used to take months can now be done in days.
Google Turned NotebookLM Into a Short-Video Maker!
Google is rolling out Short Video Overviews in NotebookLM, a new feature that turns uploaded documents, websites, or videos into 60-second vertical clips with key ideas, visuals, and AI voiceovers. Users can pick a topic, generate a quick explainer, and share it from mobile or web.

Tinkering with an AI Driven Short Generator...
Thought I might share a bit of a side quest I’ve been on over the last month or so, where I’ve been messing around with a workflow to turn long videos into short-form content using AI-assisted editing.
Happy to report that I finally got a working prototype up and running!
🏆 Shout out goes to OpenAI’s Whisper for transcript generation, Google’s Gemini 3 Flash for short creation instructions using multimodal content, and the Remotion SDK for making programmatic editing possible.
✅ What it does:
• Upload an MP4 and create a project workspace
• Extract frames and audio using Mediabunny
• Use of AI to Transcribe and generate short concepts + segment timings using • audio and frames
• Produce instructions for Remotion compositions
• Run everything in a practical local dev loop (Next.js + Workflow + Remotion)
📚 Stack Highlights
• Next.js
• Remotion (Rendering and Compositions)
• Vercel Workflow (Workflow Orchestration)
• Mediabunny (Audio and Video Conversion)
• Vercel AI SDK (to integrate and pass multi-modal content to Gemini-3-flash for Instructions Generation)
• OpenAI Whisper transcription

This isn't just another pretty AI-generated video ☕️
I got early access to Google Gemini Omni Flash, launching today. What impressed me wasn't the visual quality — it was how consistently the model reasons about the entire scene.
As the drink goes from espresso → latte, the model isn't just changing pixels. It's holding a coherent simulation of the world together.
A few things that stood out to me:
‣ Physics that actually holds up. Ripples, mixing, flow, and the final latte art all evolve the way real liquid would, not just visually similar frames stitched together.
‣ Audio generated natively, not bolted on. The pour sounds are phase-matched to the visual action. Gemini Omni Flash generates audio with every video output while keeping character and style consistent, that's what makes it feel like one continuous moment instead of a video with sound added after.
‣ Labels that track the actual viscosity of the liquid. ESPRESSO / COFFEE + WATER / COFFEE + MILK FOAM / LATTE. Not overlaid text on a timer, synced to what's actually happening in the scene - def my fave part 🤎
And tbh, the part I'm looking forward to the most, though, is the conversational editing workflow. Gemini Omni Flash takes text, images, and video as input, and you can refine outputs in natural language, say "swap the cup", "change the camera angle" - while it preserves the original audio & video tracks.
That's the real leap!
IMO we've seen good video generation before. This is multimodal reasoning extended across space, time, sound, and motion — physics, world knowledge, and scene understanding all working together to produce something coherent, not just photogenic.
Anyone tried their hands on the latest release yet? Curious what you're seeing.
