What we shipped this week. 🔁Kiro Web now has Automations. You can run recurring tasks on a schedule in Kiro. Try it with something that already recurs → http://spr.ly/6048BDPk9Q 🛠️Specs are now in the CLI. A built-in agent that thinks through requirements, design, and tasks before writing code, then executes sequentially with verification between each step. Part of the experimental CLI 3.0, try it with kiro-cli —v3 → https://lnkd.in/ezY7qsKC 📱Kiro is now on iOS. Native app built for real engineering work that gives developers a new surface to kick off, monitor, steer, and interact with their Kiro sessions directly from their phone. Your agent runs in the cloud while you grab coffee or walk your dog. When it needs you, it pauses. You respond, work continues. Available in preview for Pro, Pro+, Pro Max, and Power customers. iOS 26+ required. → http://spr.ly/6040BDPk9a What are you most excited to try?

Join Seán Winters, Miro Platform Solutions Architect Lead, and Brian Beach, Kiro Tech Lead, as they take an idea, prototype it in Miro, and build it live in Kiro, all in one session. Along the way, they'll share highlights from Miro × Kiro hackathons held across Paris, Amsterdam, LA, and New York, and show how combining visual collaboration with AI-assisted development helps teams "vibe responsibly" — going from concept to working code without skipping the thinking that matters.

Two new updates just landed in Kiro CLI. /goal lets you define an objective and max iterations, then step back. The agent works autonomously, retains full context, and won't call it done until it has verifiable evidence of completion. Ctrl+S toggles between steering and queuing mode. Steering lets you inject a prompt mid-turn rather than waiting for the LLM to finish. Useful when you can see where things are headed and want to course-correct early. More control. Less babysitting. http://spr.ly/6040BDGMd4

You told us there was a gap in our pricing tiers. We heard you. Today we’re introducing Kiro Pro Max, a new tier designed to address that gap. At $100/month, here’s what you get: → 5,000 credits/month → Access to every premium model: Claude Opus 4.8, Sonnet 4.6, Auto → Full Power-tier features: specs, custom subagents, Kiro Web, hooks, powers, and CLI access No more blowing past your Pro+ allocation and enabling overages that creep past $60–70 in extra charges. More credits, less guesswork. Try it out today 👉 http://spr.ly/6049B8fuYD

Spec mode is now in Kiro Web.💻 Instead of going from prompt to code directly, work with Kiro to define your intent first. Generate requirements, a technical design, and a task list. Then implement against what you approved. Ambiguities surface before code exists. Changes trace back to decisions you made, not prompts that disappeared. 🎯http://spr.ly/6042B8fum0

How much time are you losing to syntax?👀 Daniel Heberling, AWS Hero, started using Kiro as a second pair of eyes to explain what their code was doing. The side effect? They stopped getting stuck in the details and started thinking about: → Where is the data going? → How do the small pieces connect? → What does the user actually experience? The scaffolding is there. They just build on top of it. What part of your stack do you wish you could stop thinking about?
