This Journal Page is going Friends Only Well, at least my slash/yaoi stories will be going under friends only. I will keep my updates and news posts open to the public. For those that want to read my stories, just comment on being added. I'll also try to figure out how to do the who page Friends Only a little later.
So, have two different plot bunnies that have been bouncing around in my head. Both are being worked on, though this first one is now ready for posting as a teaser here. So enjoy and post what you think. I'll include the teaser for the second plot bunny in a couple of days.

I think it had to do with watching the first 5 season of the 2k3 TMNT and searching out Mamoru/Darien AMV from Sailor Moon. It’s a what-if story base around the idea that Mamoru wasn’t without some kind of family.

Indy 4 Review (Let's try this again since Rich and Htm is being a pain) Went to see it at the 11:45 showing. Well worth the $6.50 I paid for the ticket. Not many people in the crowd, probably because of it being during school hours. I say there was about 15 people tops. Going to try and keep the spoilers down as much as possible.
Let me see if I remember all the trailers they had before it. Hm, Dark Knight looked really good. Wall-E might be fun but I don't know for sure if I'll go to the theater and see it. Eagle Eye I'll pass on since it's not really in my taste. Hancock is going to be a rent when it's release on DVD. Kungfu Panda is probably going to go the same as Wall-E. I think that was it for the trailers, though I get the feeling I might have missed one.
I have to say that I'm a first time Indy in the theater viewer. The other three Indy movies I have seen of him have been on TV, Scifi had alll three of them on Sat and Sun. I have to say that I was caught by surprise about 5 or so minutes into the film, did not see that coming, though thinking back on it, I probably should have. Tiny spoiler below.
I have to say that the library scene was my favorite from the motorcycle chase. I love the dry humor of the scene with Indy's student asking him a question from his text book even as Shia's character is uprighting the motorcycle to help them finish getting away. Maybe I just have a weird sense of humor.
I agree with Ra88, some of the CGI was a bit blatant. For myself, it wasn't enough to pull me out of an enjoyable movie experience. I'm planning on going back and dragging my sister to see it with me.

Progress report on Transformers Fics Well, I just finished up on chapter two of "Mecha and Armors". I'll be posting it in a few minutes to FF.Net. Also a short story for a off stage scene that suppose to be taking place during chapter three of "Mecha and Armors" will hopefully be done during Christmas Day.
Also I'll be doing a teaser for another Fic that is going on during "Mecha and Armors". There is a bit of one in this second chapter. I would love to do this new story within Vathara's "Foreign xChange" storyline. I'll email her with part of the teaser to see if she would be willing to let me use some of her elements from the storyline. If not, I have my other idea to use for it.
New color work fanart Just got this done. Yes, it took me a few days, beating my head on what colors to use, but it finally, finally finished. Now that I got that out of the way, I can maybe work on chapter 2 for "Mecha and Armors". The picture was done by this community's wonderful artist, vejiraziel. This is the original line art.
Review of "Prince of Tennis" on Toonami Jetstream Well, I got a chance to see the dub of the first episode of PoT. The opening isn't the one that the Japanese used for the opening. They clipped several different parts from all the openings into it. *cries* No Kimeru singing "You got Game" later in the series.
*clears throat* Anyway, Ryoma's voice in this dub seems to be a little higher then his Japanese voice actor. Have to pull out my subs to double check with that. I'll do a better comparison Tuesday. Sakuno's voice is about the same as her Japanese voice actress but her's voice remains me of a mouse squeeze.
I'm hoping that the voice actor will grow into Ryoma's character. That's my review for this first episode, expect a comparison between the Japanese version and the English dub Tuesday.
*waves hands to show she's alive* I'm alive, though the way I felt Saturday afternoon made me wish I was dead. Not sure what I had. It wasn't a head cold because it only lasted for about 24 hours. I ended up leaving the computer on and falling across my mom's bed to try and sleep off whatever it was. Sis thinks that I just had a bad sinus attack and I'm kind of agreeing with her on it. Once I started taking sinus meds and airborne, I was feeling better Sunday.
*sighs* Why is it that when I have a day off with nothing to do by go through e-mails my sis is off almost the entire day as well. Anyway, while she was going about check her e-mail and playing video games on my section of the computer, still working on the torrents for PoT, mom had me helping with the washing and shedding papers to toss.
I just finish up with the e-mails on my other account, took a shower, and threw a sheet on my bed. *looks at the 698 e-mails that she faces* I don't know if I'm even going to try and start reading them tonight, with me facing a mid-morning shirt the next five days before my next day off.
I'm going to fire off some e-mails for Saiyan's Tail in the morning, not going to check my e-mail, and before sis demands the computer. *crosses fingers for some success in the morning*
Not here for the next couple of hours Off to get me some money. *rolls eyes* Me and sis are off to get our taxes done but I'm leaving the computer up because of my bittorrent running. Once that is done, I'm going to tackle my e-mail and then I'm going to round up my boys for the Saiyan's Tail RPG.
Here's hoping that sis doesn't claim the computer when we get back.
Late night post I really should post sooner then this but I'm downloading PoT episodes along with the Backstage video for Dream Live 1st. Not much happen today, caught up a little on my PoT watching. I should have been working on posts for Saiyan's Tails but I'll do that first thing in the morning. It also looks like the Ronin Warriors RPG is starting back up. Need to e-mail Der about that and dust off Steel and Sid for some RPG time.
In other news, I should work on finishing up the color for the pic Pip had drawn for me. I'll need to ask him if I can post the finish product on this and my DeviantART page. I really need to get back onto some old stories that I haven't work on but I need to come up with a way to get myself back to writing. Oh, well, as long as Sis doesn't demand the computer, I'll get some work done on posts.
I'm going to finish up this last download then I'm off to bed. Night.
First Journal My first Journal post. Hm, what to write? I guess a little bit about myself and what will be going on in my LJ from now on.
The name is Star Lin in the fanfiction, fanart, and RPG Lists. Just call me Star. I've been a fan of anime for a long time, back in the Captain Harlock, Starblazers, Battle of the Planets, and Speed Racer days. I think probably dates me then. *grins*
I didn't start writing fanfiction until the late 90's, when Ronin Warriors was first being aired on tv. I started out as a non-yaoi/Mary Sue writer. *ducks bricks from yaoi community* I got into Yaoi when one of the Mailing List for Samurai Troopers/Ronin Warriors offer a dare to the non-yaoi writers to write a Shonen Ai/Yaoi piece. So my first yaoi turn into a five chapter story for Touma and Seiji with a lemon at the end of it. I've been hook on yaoi since then.
It's been a while since I wrote anything for the Troopers but I still enjoy reading fanfics, especially Touma and Seiji. I'm also a fan of Saiyuki, Saint Seiya, D.N. Angel, Fake, anything done by Leiji Matsumoto, Sailor Moon, anything by Clamp, Yugioh *holds up YamixYugi flag* and the list goes on. Right now, I just got hook on Prince of Tennis. *waves Golden pair and TakaFuji banners while downloading episodes 56-60* I'm hoping to have a couple of stories for PoT in a month of so.
Now for what will be taking place. I'll probably but putting up fanfiction and some of my fanart in this Journal. I'll also try to give day to day accounts so that you guys will know how fic and art work are coming along. Well, I hope to have something in tomorrow's post.
