Jane Pain or "pata e fuego" according to me from @53xy83457 is a character that I drew an unjustified number of times not only in works and comics but in animation that eventually I fell into a love-hate relationship with her, I drew her so much that it became a pleasurable process, forcing the favoritism.

Before I get knee deep into things, I have to apologise for my previous attempt at a collab. I usually like flying solo so I'm admittedly a bit foreign to group work, but I'd really like to do a collab to be involved with the community more so hopefully we can draw out some Monster Collector fans :D To make up for this the deadline is July 1st to commemorate the 13th anniversary of the first game since 2013 (which is when I aim to post it). If all goes well I might make a Suda51 / No More Heroes collab later down the line :)

Konami revealed a trailer for their newest game coming out this year, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, releasing on all major platforms, as part of Playstation's State of Play broadcast. It looks like the heads behind Dead Cells and its DLC Return to Castlevania absolutely helped develop this game, and it looks fantastic. From the 40th anniversary page on Konami's website, this game takes place years after Castlevania III and involves a mysterious Belmont character, implied to be Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades' child. This game also takes place in France, from the narration at the beginning of the trailer.

As someone who is relatively new to the Castlevania franchise, I am very excited for the opportunity to play this. My first game was Order of Ecclesia, with the Dominus Collection on the Nintendo Switch, which I absolutely enjoyed. (Still have to finish off Drac, but have mostly finished the game.) I also enjoyed the remake of Haunted Castle also released with the collection as I beat it in an hour. (Incredible soundtrack as well.)

Salt and Sanctuary. One of the most fleshed out 2d dark souls clones, but the art looks like mud. Distinguishing things takes time and adjustment to get used to

Urgh, that grinds my gears too. Call me a wimp, but give me a continue or two, jeez. In arcades, the 1 hit/3 lives system makes sense because, well, you could keep putting quarters in if you want to continue playing*. Their home system counterparts had trouble adapting to that, it seems. The easy answer is limited continues, but apparently we can't go for the easy answer! And original titles had no excuse beyond "we want to make the game longer"

I will say, it's fine when it's Pacman or something similarly light. Because I'm not getting mad at Pacman. It's Pacman.

If you’ve never shared your work on NG, we’d love to see you join in! You can enter multiple categories or submit multiple entries. You can also team up with friends to make stuff.

Fan art is fine, if the art is your own original work and not models ripped from games.
