Mrs. Willie, nee - Emilie Klekar, Grieve of Flatonia, (formerly of the Novohrad munity) passed away Monday, February 14, 1972 at 11:55 p.m. in Renger Memorial Hospital, Hallettsville, at the age of 79 years, 5 months and 16 days. Funeral services were held from Smith Funeral Home, Flatonia, Wednesday, February 16 at 10:30 a.m. with continued services at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Praha, at 11 a.m. Rev. Marcus Valenta officiated at the Funeral Mass and was assisted by Rev. Vaclav Bily, Rev. Edmund Bily and Rev. Anthony Matula. Burial was in Praha Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charlie Pilat, Henry Janek, Boniface Okruhlik, Bowdy and Willie Migl and Paul Wayne Beale. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Rose) Beale; one son, Joe Grieve; two grandchildren, all of Flatonia; four sisters, Miss Mary Klekar of Hillje; Mrs. Charlie Kristynik of Moulton; Mrs. Charlie (Anna) Pilat and Mrs. Henry (Hedwig) C. Jasek both of Praha; and one brother, Joe Klekar of Schulenburg. OTTO KAISER Karnes City. - Religious services for Otto Kaiser of Karnes City were held Sunday, February 20 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Karnes City at 3 p.m. The Rev. Kenneth Richards, pastor of the church, officiated. He also sang, "How Great Thou Art." with organ accompaniment by Miss Diane Hoffman. "My Faith Looks Up To Thee" and "Abide With Me" were sung by the congregation. Burial was in Karnes City Cemetery. Arrangements were by Rhodes Home of Karnes City. Pallbearers were Rudolph Coldewey, Alfred Ahrens, Bennie Haverlah, August Witte, Hilmer Person and Martin Salge. He died in the Karnes Hospital, Karnes City, Friday, February 18, 1972 at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 20 days. Otto Paul Kaiser was born in Clifton, Texas, son of the late August and Clara (Boehm) Kaiser, February 28, 1897. He was married December 20, 1922 to Miss Elizabeth Hartzendorf The FBI is intensifying their | efforts to apprehend Benjamin Hoskins Paddock. Paddock is currently listed as one of the "FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives." Paddock is being sought by the FBI as an Escaped Federal Prisoner, escaping from the Federal Correctional Institution located in La Tuna, Texas. Paddock was convicted of a Karnes City; daughter, Mrs. F. D. (Dorothy) McCarroll of Biloxi, Mississippi; 4 sisters, Mrs. Hattie Schaefer of Kenedy, Mrs. Alfred| Kempe of Karnes City, Mrs. Werner Pevestorff of San Antonio, Mrs. Julius Gersbach of Bartlett; 2 brothers, Alvin Kaiser of Kenedy. Oswald Kaiser of San Antonio; one grandson, Stephen Kaiser of Biloxi, Mississippi. MRS. FREDDIE ZINKE Yoakum. - Funeral services were held for Mrs. Freddie Zinke at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 20 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Hochheim, with Rev. Michael O'Shaughnessy officiating. Burial was in St. Ann's Cemetery. Rosary was recited Saturday at 8 p.m. at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel, Yoakum. Mrs. Zinke, 24 years, 3 months and 29 days of age, passed away at Huth Memorial Hospital, Yoakum, Friday, February 18, 1972 at 2:30 a.m. Mrs. Zinke, nee Olga mae Friedel, was born October 19, 1947, in DeWitt County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Friedel Sr. Survivors include her husband, Freddie Zinke; a son, Allen Wayne Zinke; two daughters, Terry Lynn and Christine Marie Zinke; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Friedel Sr.; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Iona, Ward; paternal grandmother, Mrs. John Friedel, a brother, Edmund J. Friedel Jr., all of Yoakum, two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Tiller of Lake Jackson and Mrs. Rose Mary Mraz of Houston. GEORGE J. FRIEDEL Yoakum. George J. Friedel, former Yoakum resident, died unexpectedly Monday, February 21, 1972, in Navasota at the age of 49 years, 5 months and 2 days. A ranch foreman, Mr. Friedel was born September 19, 1922 in Yoakum, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Friedel. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 23 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Yoakum, with burial in St. Ann's Cemetery at Hochheim. bank robbery which occurred on July 26, 1960, in Phoenix, Arizona. He has also been arrested numerous times for bank robbery, auto larceny, and confidence schemes. Paddock has been diagnosed as being psychopathic and egotistical, as well as arrogant, and reportedly has suicidal tendencies. Paddock has additionally been indicted for two other bank robberies in Phoenix which took place in 1959 and 1960; however, he was not tried on these robberies to the other bank robbery conviction. During his arrest in Las Vegas, Nevada, Paddock attempted to run down an FBI Agent with his car. During a previous arrest he was found to have a cleverly concealed revolver on him. Paddock's previous convictions include ten counts of auto larceny, five counts of "confidence game", and a conviction for conspiracy in connection with a bad check operation. Paddock is described as a white American, born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, on November 1, 1926. 1 Paddock presents a striking appearance, being 6'4" and weighing 245 pounds. He is blond and balding; however, his head may be completely shaved or he may be wearing a hairpiece. Paddock has gray or green eyes and a large build. He may also wear contact lenses or glasses. Over his right eyebrow he has a scar, as well as one on his right knee. Paddock also has a birthmark on his left ankle. Further, he is considered a very "smooth talker and con man" who is arrogant and egotistical. Among his "likes" are cigars and cigarettes and he is particularly fond of steaks. He is an avid bridge player and gambler. Paddock enjoys viewing sports events; however, his fav| orite is baseball, and he is considered a very competent baseball umpire. A Federal Warrant charging Paddock with Escape was issued at El Paso, Texas, on February 3 1969. Since Paddock has employed violence and has been diagnosed as being psychopathic with possible suicidal tendencies, he should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.
