Hi! My name's Andy Law. I'm an award-winning games designer, writer, cartographer, illustrator, editor, and overall super-enthusiastic wearer of many game-creation hats. During the last two decades, I've worked on&nbsp;Warhammer, Critical Role, Call of Cthulhu, Game of Thrones, Dragon Age, Warhammer 40K, 5E, and many more, and, really, I just adore my work. SO, WHAT'S THIS PATREON ABOUT?This Patreon is here to support an ongoing RPG campaign that livestreams weekly, beginning to end, and will be expanded with blogs, prep advice, new rules, art, poems, maps, and much more besides. WHAT CAMPAIGN? WHAT GAME?After much deliberation, I've chosen to present a&nbsp;fresh take on The Enemy Within campaign for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (WFRP). Why the Enemy Within?&nbsp;Well, not only is it one of most famous and beloved RPG campaigns ever written, but it's also one I know best. I've run it many, many times. I've written for it professionally. And developed it. And mapped it. and spoken with its original creators. And so much more. It was an obvious choice. WAIT? 'FRESH TAKE'? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? Well, many things. Let's do a top three. 1) New Material When I was WFRP's Producer I discussed the entire Enemy Within with Graeme Davis&nbsp;at length. Graeme is (and I hope he doesn't mind me saying this too much) the living ancestor behind the most recent 'Director's Cut' of the campaign, and one of the original writers of&nbsp;WFRP and The Enemy Within&nbsp;campaign. He's also brilliant. We discussed everything that could be added and changed to the campaign and generally adored working on expanding it further. We shared so, so many ideas. And that's what this streamed campaign will be about. Bringing all those ideas to the screen. This version of the&nbsp;Enemy Within&nbsp;will be unlike any seen before. I.e.: I fully intend to do exactly what the most recent edition of the campaign suggests you do: make it your own! For example, I set up many things when I was writing Enemy in Shadows, part 1 of the campaign, and I intend to show some of the different ways these could be paid off as you move through the campaign. 2) Suitable for all levels of gamer The players involved in this campaign include three contributors to the official WFRP game: me, Andy Leask, and Lindsay Law. Joining them, we have a mixture of old hands at the setting and some who are entirely new to it. So, whether you are a WFRP veteran or a newbie keen to see what it's all about, this is the place to be! We'll even include a tutorial or two as we go to make sure everything is clear. And if patrons have questions about how things work, we'll happily answer. 3) New Rules In 2018, I wrote the following for page 7 of WFRP 4th edition: 'Throughout the book, we present as many options as we can so that you can tailor the game to your vision, many of which are marked clearly with ‘Options:’. If anything contradicts how you want to play your game, please feel free to change it.' This streamed game will take that suggestion and run with it. After all, a streamed game is very different to your standard tabletop game. So, I'm adding house rules like crazy to ensure things run smoothly.&nbsp; That means we'll be using a streamlined version of the rules that everyone will immediately recognise from the most recent 4th edition of WFRP.Included in that will be a rewrite of every career and, where needed, a rebalanced of every rule. As a designer of the original WFRP4 rules, I know them intimately and intend to use that experience to full effect. You'll also benefit from this as every update and rule change I install will be available here and provided for free to everyone.Yes, 100% free. So, whether you are a patron, supporter, watcher, enthusiastic onlooker, or just someone casually aware that we exist, every house rule I use, every new spell I create, every magical item I build for my players will be offered for free for you to use in your games any way you prefer. But that's not all. BLOGS! MAPS! ART! I'll also be writing blogs explaining the changes I've made, and why, explaining how I prep, how I build my story arcs... basically, how I do everything. And why. There will be maps. There will be art. There will be handouts. There will be tokens and counters. There will be discussions about politics. Alongside demographics. And likely discussions about the 'true' populations of Altdorf, because I love a bit of controversy in my posts. In short, if I need it for the campaign, it will go up here for you to peruse. So, there will be a ton of fun stuff to play around with. AND MORE... But, I don't just plan to do the Enemy Within... If we can make this work, and we finish the entire campaign, and we are all happy to press on, then we'll move on to campaign 2. And this one will be epic! I've created a sequel to the Enemy Within alongside&nbsp;Warhammer legend, Gav Thorpe, and I've been tapping away at that for the last year in between other jobs. And it's absolutely bloody EPIC. No other words for it. And, heck, if that flies, I even have a campaign 3 and 4 planned, too! So, do you fancy joining us? All-access LAWhammer

This is the tier for those that want to have a Walk-on part for their favourite NPC, item, location, or something else. You get everything the All-access LAWhammer tier gains, plus you can name an NPC, place, or item in a future episode of our campaign for every 3 months you are a Patreon. All naming will be handled on Discord and will be ratified by Andy to ensure it is appropriate for the setting of his campaign. What will your Walk-on LAWhammer part be? Note: If the Walk-on benefit becomes too popular to be practical, this tier will be changed later.

Walk-on LAWhammer

You can now upgrade the NPC, item, or location you add to the game to be something a little special. A magical item, a great hero from the past, a tavern the PCs always return to, or perhaps a character with more detail than just a name. Like Walk-on LAWhammer, this will be handled through Discord by Andy who will confirm if a chosen name or detail is suitable for his setting. Not only this, but once you confirm how you would like to be credited, your name will be added at the end of every show as a Hero of LAWhammer!
