My mom is moving into assisted living in Saskatoon, so it's finally time for me to get around to moving my stuff that's stored there. A few pieces of furniture, few boxes. Would fit into an 8' U-Haul, and I'm considering that option, but I also want to compare hiring movers. I live on Gabriola Island, but I could have the movers meet me at a U-Haul in Nanaimo and transfer everything to a truck or storage for me to deal with on my own.
Any recommendations?

This January marked the start of our International Voter Registration Drive 2026, especially for dual U.S.-Canadian citizens in Vancouver and the surrounding areas. Since an extremely important election is coming in November, we're hoping to register more dual U.S.-Canadian citizens and other eligible U.S. voters. In the future, we'll hold both in-person and online events.
If you know any eligible US citizens, they can register and request a ballot. Just send them this link: . As long as they'll turn 18 by election day, they're eligible.
