I was clearly asking for opinions in relation to a primary point as thought experiments.

I mean sure, let's go ahead and pull the string anyway. Ask google Bible questions... and it'll come up with a bunch of nonsense that Christians made up. Now ask google covid questions, and it will have a similar effect, except now you have a bunch of nonsense politicians and social media made up.

Why ask any questions if google has all the anwsers? That's a very good question. Why do forums even exist? Well perhaps it's because real anwsers are usually found in real discussions, which aren't really ever linked anywhere, and not so much on clickbait articles, which endup getting linked everywhere.

Yes I suppose you could just google search for everything, but that's not really the point of posting this comment.

You mean listening to the news? I never listen to any news networks, because it's insanely bad for my mental health. I have enough attention seaking missiles as it is, so I usually stick away from anything related to politics.

I asked simple related questions, whether "a mask was enough". I was introduced with claims that "a mask was effective", not claims that a mask was enough. I wanted to know whether the current protection is sufficient in the opinion of the person I was replying too, to which the only reply I got in return was "masks are good", which never anwsered the question, and so I asked the next person what they think, and apparently nobody here knows how to anwser this simple question.

Calling a person a moron for asking questions is moronic.

Do you have these research papers handy? Nobody here yet has claimed to have done anything as a result of empirical evidance existing, they're just picking on the ethic points instead.

This also still doesn't really anwser the question of why we're stopping at a mask, or why we're not questioning the types of masks people are wearing, and so on so forth. If the number of people who aren't wearing masks in important conditions is relatively small, then the statistical probability of this being relevant also decreases.

If the importance of a mask is so high, does this imply that we should shame people for wearing masks that are insufficient aswell?

Reddit is a hivemind, it doesn't want your opinion, unless you have the right opinion.

Your hands will eventually touch your clothes, which will eventually touch your hands again. Your entire body surface is infected if all you do is wash hands and wear masks.

Do you believe hand washing helps reduce the spread of the virus?
