Can’t even charitably be said to be blah. It’s the space between the blahs. Go to Full Review Archi Sengupta LeisureByte.com Jul 9, 2024

After Ever Happy tries to tell us that #Hessa is endgame, but it's just a horrid tale of toxicity and pity parties. Go to Full Review Maxance Vincent InSession Film Mar 6, 2024

It’s particularly frustrating to see Stephen Moyer and Mira Sorvino dragged into this mess because they’re talented actors who deserve better. Go to Full Review Jennifer Green Common Sense Media Nov 9, 2022

Though it feels repetitive and increasingly difficult to sympathize with their clearly unhealthy relationship, there's always just enough in each film to keep you watching. Go to Full Review John Serba Decider Sep 27, 2022
15 minutes of consequential drama stretched to a near-bust at 95 minutes. Go to Full Review Jim Schembri jimschembri.com Sep 9, 2022

The film is emotionally overcooked, full of cuss words and has some pretty dodgy dialogue that the spirited young cast do their best to sell. All credit to them. Still, it’s hard to sit through without wishing you could scroll through Google News. Go to Full Review Read all reviews

Heather J Sep 25, 2022 Ive watch the previous 3 movies and read all the books. Absolutely love the movie! See more wack Sep 21, 2022 I didn’t like the way it ended ☹️ See more Maria Sep 18, 2022 Better than 2 and 3! Just as good as the first movie! See more VegasV Sep 17, 2022 I was quite impressed with the led male - hero Fiennes - yes that acting family - and his portrayal of the confused young man who grows up and begins to take reponsibility of his life and how he reacts with others. A substance abuser finds the reasons of hs abuse, how he can change it, and becomes a top ten author...yes, it is far fetched, but shows audiences that his skills as an actor is quite powerful, yet the plot is still far-fethched..I really cannot fathom a young man having his book published and succesful in asuch a short time - it just really does not happen that way in real life. The woman who portrays his lover, his soul mate, etc. is quite boring in her portrayal of his love and soul mate interest. Her interpretation is rather flat and her range quited limited. She has about five different expressions and is really quite plastic in this role. It needed an actor with greater depth and strength for this pivotal performance. Funny - I was thinking that I would be seeing the new Harry Styles film, Don't Worry Darling, and actually chose Happy Ever After by error - but it was a good error as it introduced a friend and myself to Hero - the actor who portrays the films' 'hero' role...I feel it is worthy of seeing just for his performance. It had a made for TV feeling - but I always prefer seeing a film in the theater. See more alissa Sep 15, 2022 I love all the after movies and books!! I can say this one was a lot of back and forth but I still loved it! See more Deanna R Sep 12, 2022 Great acting by HFT and JL playing Hardin and Tessa. The context was very similar to the book, until the ending, which was a big disappointment. I would rather see this film wrap up the story than add an additional film to the series. Or at least give a better ending to this film. See more Read all reviews
