Make sure to take precautions when traveling during extreme summer heat. Sizzling temperatures can cause heat exhaustion and life-threatening heat stroke. Check the forecast before a trip and consider moving outdoor activities to early morning or late night hours. Pack water, cooling towels and a wide-brimmed hat. Take extra precautions for infants, older adults and people with health conditions who may be more vulnerable. While vacationing, look out for symptoms of heat illness like dizziness, fainting and nausea and be prepared to seek shade and sip water. As temperatures climb, travelers should listen to their bodies and remain flexible.

To make the Amalfi Lemon Margarita, combine blanco tequila with melted coconut oil. Let it sit, then freeze and strain. Add limoncello and syrup, shake well and store in the freezer. Serve in a coupe with crushed ice.

This punch is bright and zippy from lemon and grapefruit juice, with a hint of color and complexity from strawberries, and perhaps my favorite component, fresh ginger, which adds a hint of spice.
