Biography
Kwame Nkrumah served as the first Prime Minister of an independent Ghana 1957 to 1964 and then President of Ghana 1964 to 1966. While he was away in China in 1966, his government was overthrown and he lived the rest of his life in exile.
Kwame Nkrumah was born in 1909 in Nkroful, Ghana. He attended Lincoln University, Pennsylvania graduating in 1939.
He passed away in 1972 and is buried in the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park And Mausoleum, Accra, Ghana.
