It was a dream as a child to one day be part of the Tour peloton. A dream that was greatly enhanced by watching the Tour peloton pass by on the Galibier in Valloire. It is also a nice coincidence that in the first week of my very first @LeTour , we get to finish there.

It was an honor to be called up for this World Championship. I truly enjoyed my adventure in this wonderfully beautiful country, Rwanda. It was enriching both on and off the bike. 1/2

We fully acknowledge that everyone has the right to protest. However, we kindly ask that this be done in a safe manner. Our focus here is on our sport, not on politics or any particular position in this matter. I respectfully urge you not to endanger either us or yourselves Life

It was obvious that it will happen: today the protesters caused a crash in the peloton and it could have been much worse. 😪 I know that Intermarché won't say anything but I hope those crazy people will be sent to jail. #LaVuelta25

I am looking forward to starting my 4th @lavuelta . Once again a strong line-up with @soudalquickstepteam . Now it’s about seeing how strong the extinct dinosaurs can still claw. #Louisaurus

Really disappointed that a virus got me down and forced me to stop this Tour de France. Finally, the lovely mountain stages were there, the ones I’m always looking forward to the most. But I will watch them at home and cheer Remco to the podium.
