Here you will find important information about the UMK23 event, which will take place at Logomo in Turku on Saturday 25 February 2023. This information package is long, but please read the text in its entirety. We reserve the right to make changes and clarifications as UMK23 approaches.
Welcome to the UMK23 event!
Please read and follow these arrival instructions carefully, thank you.
UMK DRESS REHEARSAL at 1:30 p.m.-5 p.m. (no age limit)
Turku, Logomo, Junakatu 9, 20100 Turku. Entrance through the main door.
Please, arrive early: the UMK dress rehearsal starts at 3 p.m. and you must be seated in the hall by 2:30 p.m. The hall doors will be closed before the dress rehearsal begins!
At UMK, you are welcome to wear your party clothes and go crazy with your outfit!
Entry to the dress rehearsal only with the UMK23 dress rehearsal ticket. The ticket has been sent to the email address you have provided. If you can't find your ticket in your email, check your spam folder or messages from noreply@lippu.fi. If necessary, contact Lippu.fi, phone number 030 514 214. Please arrive early to avoid congestion at the doors. Take out your ticket before entering the door and, just in case, take your ID with you. Further information on arriving in Logomo is provided below.

15-17 UMK23 dress rehearsal
You must leave Logomo after the dress rehearsal. UMK23 can be watched on Yle channels from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
UMK-SHOW and AFTER PARTY Sat 25.2. at 7 p.m.-4 a.m. (show no age limit, after party 18 yrs)

The after party is from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. in Teatro Bar and Teatro hall (18 yrs). The after party is included in your show ticket. After party tickets are also available at Lippu.fi.

The evening starts at Viisudisco at 7 p.m. and Younghearted will perform at Kitchen at 7.45 p.m.! The bars close at 8:20 p.m. when the UMK preshow starts. You must be seated in the hall at 8.30 p.m. We close the hall doors before the start of the show!

HOW DO I COME TO UMK?
If possible, arrive by public transport, as there are few parking spaces in the Logomo area. Turku's main train station is located approximately 700 meters from Logomo. You can walk to Logomo via the pedestrian bridge crossing the railway yard. If you must come by car, you can drive to Logomo from both Köydenpunojankatu and Vaunukatu. Parking in Logomo's yard is always chargeable. Autoparkki is responsible for parking supervision.

INFORMATION ABOUT ARRIVING TO UMK
Please arrive early to avoid congestion at the doors. Please bring your ticket, which you received via email from Lippu.fi. Tickets are checked at the door, without a ticket you cannot enter Logomo. If you can't find your ticket in your email, check your spam folder or messages from noreply@lippu.fi. Please note that the age limit for the UMK after party is 18, so please also take your identity card with you. If you have any questions, please contact: umk@yle.fi.
IN THE AUDIENCE
There are seats in the hall, but the audience can stand in front of their own seats. Please always pay attention to the good visibility of your fellow spectators. Signs, tickets and other cheering props can be brought into all stands. We reserve the right to remove signs, flags and other props that interfere with the TV broadcast. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the hall. You may only take water/soft drinks in a plastic bottle without a cap to the Logomo hall. The Logomo hall also has a public water point. As an exception, the C stand has serving rights.
Events may not be photographed professionally without permission. Shooting with flash is prohibited.
DURING THE SHOW
The audience must remain seated during the broadcast and cannot move in the hall during the live performances, as the cameras move over the audience. If you need to use the toilet, the staff will take you out of the hall and return you to your seat during the video inserts.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY
Wheelchair and escort places are located on the upper platform of the C stand. Information about Logomo's accessibility.
SAFETY
At UMK, health and safety is of paramount importance. We follow the safety and health recommendations set by the authorities and Yleisradio's occupational safety. We want to guarantee a safe environment for everyone. If you notice security-related issues, report them to the nearest security personnel.
We do not accept any form of discrimination, bullying or inappropriate behavior at our event. Please notify the staff at a low threshold if you notice disturbing behavior. There is a harassment contact person at the event, to whom you can report possible harassment situations at a low threshold. You can recognize them by their pink reflective vest. You can also reach the harassment contact person at the number: 044 421 1080.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
Alcohol, glass bottles or cans, firearms or bladed weapons (including multi-purpose tools), fireworks, spray bottles (for example hairspray) or other similar dangerous objects may not be brought into Logomo.
UMK23
In the UMK23 show, Keira, Benjamin, Robin Packalen, Lxandra, Käärijä, KUUMAA and Portion Boys compete for the position of the Finnish Eurovision representative. The show is hosted by Samu Haber, who also appears in the show. All UMK23 songs can be found on Yle Areena and music streaming services. UMK's winning show will be seen at the Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held on the behalf of Ukraine in Liverpool, United Kingdom in May 2023. You can vote for your favorite with the Yle application or by calling or texting.
