I purchased this camera mainly for the advertised Retinal 2K video and overall smart features. Setup was straightforward, and I like the real-time motion alerts and the ability to use Live View with two-way talk. The low-light color feature works well when thereâs some ambient light, and the privacy lens cover is a nice touch for peace of mind.
However, I was expecting sharper picture quality based on the product description. While the video is decent and perfectly usable for monitoring, it doesnât appear as crisp or detailed as I anticipated, especially when trying to use the 4x zoom where the image tends to lose clarity. It still performs reliably for general security monitoring, but if youâre expecting extremely sharp, high-definition detail, you may find it a bit underwhelming.
Overall, itâs a solid, easy-to-use camera with good features, but the video sharpness didnât quite meet my expectations.
Extremely easy to assemble and connect to everything necessary compared to any other camera I have tried. The field of view insanely good and the quality might as well be my own eyes. Motion detecting has been going great, I thankfully havenât had any as it is pointing on my patio!
Ps: donât turn on the mic to test it in the same room as the camera, itâs extremely sensitive I guess because I found out the hard way!
Ps it is labeled indoors because it will eventually be my indoors camera
