  44 × 36.5, oil on canvas. "Gilbert Munger 1900" lower left. For five other versions of this scene see #88, #165, #172, #232, and #256. One of them has a date of 1890 so the scene is certainly French, even though this one is date after Munger returned to the US. A Baltimore (MD) Museum of Art label with "L.28.8.2" indicates the painting was loaned to the museum in 1928. Paintings #25, #38, and #167 have similar stickers.
