Marja Ahti (Sweden, 1981), born in Sweden but based in Finland, started out
under the moniker Tsembla with the albums
Fauna (2011),
Nouskaa Henget (2013) and
Terror & Healing (2015), the

She became a more austere electroacoustic composer, combining field recordings, vocals, electronics and resonant objects, on
Still Lives (Students of Decay, 2021), that contains
The Bon Voyage (8:35),
The Current Inside (Hallow Ground, 2020), that contains
The Altitudes (20:09),
and
Vegetal Negatives (Hallow Ground, 2019), that contains
Coastal Inversion (12:40).
Entering A Cloud (Longform Editions, 2018) is a 20-minute composition.
She is also a member of trio IAX with Jonna Karanka (Kuupuu) and Laura Naukkarinen (Lau Nau).
