Midori Takada (Japan, 1951), a member of percussion trio Mkwaju Ensemble,
collected several minimalist compositions on Through The Looking Glass (1983), notably Crossing, inspired by the
intricate percussive patterns of Steve Reich's Drumming.
She also released Tree of Life (1999).
