Mariano Llinas (Argentina, 1975), the son of
writer Julio Llinas and the brother of actress Veronica Llinas,
debuted with the
mockumentary Balnearios (2002).
In 2002 he founded the collective El Pampero Cine
(with his university student Laura Citarella, editor Alejo Moguillansky, cinematographer Agustin Mendilaharzu and others)
The four-hour
Historias Extraordinarias/ Extraordinary Stories (2008)
La Flor (2018), ten years in the making, is a 13-hour film.
